With the comeback season officially coming for Young Money's Drake, it would only make sense that the Canadian rapper be given the routine treatment and face some leakage.

Recently dropping the first single “Over” for his debut album Thank Me Later, the Internet has already gotten its hands on another track “Shut It Down” featuring The-Dream.

Drake feat. The-Dream – “Shut It Down”

Check here for more wired tracks from Hip-Hop Wired.

Initially rumored to be the first single released from the upcoming project, Drizzy teams with none other than the American Dream to slow it down and show signs of So Far Gone.

Allegedly the unfinished version, how do the masses weigh in on the next one from Drake?

Thank Me Later, May 2010, get ready for it.

“Here I am, out of my protective external bubble, and into my own. I have made mistakes, angered some, confused others, fought guidance and embraced chaos.”

While immersed in the life of entertainment, success is the finish line, but some have fallen short in their journey towards conquest. Whatever the case may be, once down, a person must find the ability to alleviate one's self of all that led him/her to the bottom and restart the trip back to the top.

With Charles Hamilton popping back up on the scene, many are hesitant in receiving the rapper due to his incessant negative behaviors that he was showcasing before going into hiding.

Releasing the EP Normalcy, Hamilton is back in the driver's seat to deliver music once again, but has made sure that his material will act as his spokesperson and not him just talking.

In the process of his return, the young rapper decided to pen a letter for the fans to take a glimpse into his mind and see all that revolves in the spectrum of Sonic the Hamilton. The first business to attack, of course, would be his hiatus.

“My time out of the proverbial limelight had many different motives. The first and most important was to make sure that my own sanity and health was in tact. I had publicly done several things to my image and reputation that made my very word suspect. This doesn't stop at album info or YouTube videos. Something was aggravating me on the inside, and the last thing I wanted to do was let anyone in on how I was really feeling. Anxiety about being a “top artist”, the classic “I don't fit in” syndrome. Things that I thought I got over came back into my memories with a vengeance.”

Another issue that was addressed dealt with being dropped from Interscope. His relationship there with the higher ups may have subsequently led to his debut album This Perfect Life being leaked by the label.

“When the news broke about me being released from the label, I wasn't mad. Just frustrated at the fact I would be asked a million pressing questions about it. My emotions were already numb at personal stuff, and I knew that being the (insert adjective here) of the music business would make me a humor target. Whatever I thought. All I wanted to do was release my music to the masses and be heard on the scale of legends. As it turns out, not only were a lot of people listening, but because of the vast quantity of music, it was hard to keep up with. For the masses and for the company I worked for.”

Calling the Normalcy EP a way to get commentary and clear the air, Hamilton added that his time away has given birth to three more projects that fans can expect to hear in the future.

Whatever the next day holds in store for Hamilton, he clearly has decided to check his ego at the door. Now in a new year, what better a time then now to try and start things off with a clean slate.

Although Lupe Fiasco may have disappointed many fans by cancelling the Christmas mixtape Friend of the People, Hip Hop may still be in store of a fresh tape from the Chicago native on the way.

Alongside DJ Absolut, there will be a tape released featuring 12 unreleased songs within Fiasco's career before he became the “Superstar” that he is today.

With no solid date set for the release, expect the upcoming project to be available by the top of the New Year.

Initially giving Lupe exposure in New York City through Hot 97 and over the mixtape circuit, Absolut will showcase some of the rapper's work before he began launching 1st and 15th on Atlantic Records and was on Arista Records.

With the backfire of the unwelcomed leak of “I'm Beaming” and still no official release for Lasers, hopefully this will be able to hold fans over until Fiasco makes his much needed return and drops the album.

"Young Money will be on the Monique show 2nite!!!!!! Check ya local listing for specific times!!!!!...RT @KarenCivil: Leaked 09 Rebirth isn't going to be 2010 Rebirth..”

Back in 2008, Lil Wayne had to deal with something unthinkable that would have never crossed his mind. His album Carter III was leaked in its entirety for the Internet soldiers to feed on and purchase way before it was scheduled to hit retail stores.

Now 2009, the same problem may have happened to Wayne due to Amazon. Reported earlier, the online store sent 500 pre-ordered copies of Rebirth to fans on December 14, although the album is not scheduled to hit stores until February.

The rapper eater just can't get a break can he?

Acting as the Young Money spokesman as of late, Mack Maine was able to assure fans, through Twitter, that the copy fans received will not be the final product, according to Young Money representative Karen Civil..

With two months left, however, it might be a bluff.

In related news, Lil Wayne and his Young Money army recently appeared on The Monique Show to speak on the compilation album coming next Tuesday along with some beginnings when Young Money was initially formed.

Check here for the video:

Lil Wayne's rap career has been synonymous with dealing with early leaks. With The Rebirth album being pushed back to 2010, the rapper has been prepping music videos to accompany the songs that have already been dropped to the public.

Weezy may have sprung one leak all too soon, however, as “Drop This World” recently hit the net featuring Detroit's own Eminem.

Since their collaboration on “Forever” Wayne stated it didn't really count and that he was still looking for the two to have an actual track which has culminated into this.

Weigh in on the track “Drop This World” and state if Wayne was able to compete with the re-energized Shady or if he was a victim like Jay-Z on “Renegage” that got murdered on his own Shyte.

“I had to fight to get that on the album because I don't think a lot of people at the label understood it.”

No person can imagine the magnitude of emotion an artist will endure when he/she finds out that his/her album has been leaked. In the case of D.C. rapper Wale, part of the new class, it is a shock to the system to know that he will already have a disadvantage with his debut Attention Deficit.

Leaks hit the net for the upcoming project which is scheduled for release on November 10.

For those that already have the album and those that are still waiting to hear it, the rapper that made “Chillin” has minimal presence in the album as the body of work shows him to be more than a pop song.

One song in particular, titled “Shades," shows Wale speaking on his childhood and dealing with different complexions of the African American race and having a negative perception towards those with lighter skin.

Speaking with Peace Magazine, the rapper opened up on the meaning behind the track and how it was actually a song about self and dealing with his own insecurities.

“'Shades' isn't necessarily about my resentfulness, at one point I thought I was resenting them, but it was a lack of confidence in myself that led me to behave the way I did at that time in my life.”

Outside of the song, Wale added there are different shades within the industry which causes differences due to a lack of comprehension with creativity and how he had to miss out on other powerful songs which were meant for the album.

“There's not a lot of ethnicity in the industry, as far as the higher ups go, and those guys are great at marketing and doing what they do, but a lot of times, records like “Ice & Rain," “Family Affair," these are all records that I wanted to get on the album, but I couldn't. “Shades was one where it had to and I was going to refuse to do anything if it didn't come out.”

The industry has been in disarray for quite some time where sales outweigh substance and feeling. The powers that be are not looking for an individual; instead they want clones which he is unwilling to be from this point forward.

“I understand the game; you have to put a record out like that to wake up the people that don't really care about self in music. Now, it's on now. Y'all know what I want to make now so be prepared. I'm not here to be a pop act. “Chillin” is a pop song and I'm not here to be a pop act. I enjoyed what Gaga brings to the table and I wanted to make something that could be a lot of fun, but I don't think I'll be going back down that road ever.”

Even with such a misstep before the gun blows to start the race, sales may be hurt, but the message is still there for everyone to hear. With a week before the official release, Wale won't allow the shades of music to cover his voice.

For a man such as Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson to have such ongoing hate since his 2003 debut, it must leave a nice taste for the rapper to know that

Falling victims to the same circumstances as Jay-Z, the New York native has been forced to deal with his upcoming project, Before I Self Destruct, completely leaked almost a month before its actual release date.

Originally slated to be released November 23, the album has been kicked up a week and should now hit shelves on November 16.

Although the album has been released, three bonus tracks are still only available with the actual disc and fans may want to not miss out on the short film or the Jam Master Jay documentary.

After using his own site to release Fat Joe's and Triple Cs latest projects, it seems as though karma kicked in and was not in the favor of the rapper. His endless battles with these other rappers seemed to have actually been promotion for them and another reason for fans to have issues with 50.

Surprisingly enough, however, Jackson doesn't seem to be too phased by the news and has instead embraced the leak as a sign that his fans are anticipating the return. No positive response so far has also helped to raise his ego even more.

Catching up with G-Unit Radio, the General came off as having high hopes even with the news of a leak.

"It'll be out on the 16th. I'm expecting it to do good because of the response that I've heard from the web. You know what I mean? It's obvious they didn't expect me to write the things that I wrote on the actual record, but, I don't know why. They're like 'This Shyte is fire.' What are you surprised for, stupid? Even the worst one did 700,000 the first week.”

With a promise to return to the grittiness from Get Rich Or Die' Tryin, 50 has yet to come short on his words. Aside from the expected female song “Baby By Me”, Fifty has used songs such as “So Disrespectful” and “Strong Enough” to lay waste to his enemies in the industry. His song alongside Eminem titled “Psycho” shows that he has yet to lose a step.

The days continue to fall and the release approaches for the return. The only question is will this album be the return everyone has waited for or will it be the nail in the coffin for his career as a rapper.
