Well, despite allegedly catching the fade in Chicago for not properly compensating Boosie's family, Webbie is trying to squash the death rumors. "LET ME CLEAR IT UP, BOOSIE IS NOT DEAD," tweeted Webbie earlier today.

This entire matter is hella suspect, and in bad taste, considering the music world just lost Whitney Houston yesterday (February 11).

Since Boosie has been in prison, Webbie, Fox and Lil Trill have been doing 'Free Lil Boosie' shows and selling 'Free Lil Boosie' shirts but according to Boosie's mother, the only contact from the rap world she's received has been through Young Jezzy, Yo Gotti, Mi5led and Waka Flocka.

The fight apparently was a gangsta party as the "Anti-FukBoi Movement" was in affect as members of several Chicago gangs including The Vice Lords and  Latin Kings took part in the beatdown.

Webbie was performing at Primetime nightclub around 3a.m. on Sunday when the shooting occurred.  When police arrived, they discovered a man lying face down on the pavement outside the club with a gunshot wound to the chest. He died later at the hospital.

Boosie's partner in rhyme  was taken into custody, but it turns out he was questioned simply because the shooting occurred at his concert and police thought he might have some info about what went down. According to law enforcement sources, Webbie didn't know anything and was let go.  No arrest was made and charges were filed.

Talk is cheap and its a lot of rappers areout here faking, but Yo Gotti ain't one. During a recent show stop in Baton Rogue, Louisiana, Gotti stopped by Lil Boosie's mother's  house and visited his family, and also dropped off some cash.

Anybody can yell "Free Lil Boosie" or "Free"  whoever but they are just words. Salute to Yo Gotti for keeping it G.

Boosie's trial on murder charges is set to start this April.

In anticipation of his April trial on murder charges, Boosie sends his fans a letter (via Ozone Magazine). Considering he has followers that are willing to tattoo their support of Boosie, I'm sure this letter will be greatly received.

A letter to all my fans,

First, I want to than you all of you for supporting me through these hard time. Last month I was sentence to 8 years with credit for time served so i will have to do 19 months on that sentence. I go to trial for this murder charge in April so please keep me in your prayers.

To all my fans who write me through J-Pay make sure you put your address so I can respond. Its hard to write every body back but I will try my best to do so. I would also like my all my fans to support Young Jeezy new album TM 103 hes a real nigga with a big heart. Earlier this week we reported of woman getting "DRAKE" tattooed on her forehead.

Well apparently Lil Boosie has a #1 fan as well who went all out for the jailed rapper.

An independent rapper by the name of Mingo Baby.... (Who, that's what we said  too) misses Lil Boosie so bad that he got "Free Lil Boosie" tattood on his forehead.  We all thought Webbie was gone be doing that.

Mingo Baby says Boosie was 100 and that he rocked shows with him before.

Ok, well send the man the letter but this face tattoo.   FAIL Miserably but as he states he don't give a KCUF.

Lil Boosie's momma called in to check in with TT Torez and Power 92.1 FM in Richmond to clear the air and set the record straight on her beloved son (Torrance Hatch) and his incarceration.

After pleading guilty to smuggling drugs into prison this week, there's a lot to be said and confirmed about the chain of events that led up to the Hip Hop star's legal woes.

Check out Ms. Connie's perspective as she reveals what is said to be a personal vendetta against Lil Boosie and the way she's even experienced harassment from Louisiana officers just trying to get their break, too.

Ms. Connie opens up about how the IRS wiped out the family's support system.

Boosie, whose real name is Torrence Hatch, pled guilty to three counts of conspiring to bring drugs into a penal institution, which Judge Mike Erwin sentenced him to eight years in prison for.

Investigators said he tried to smuggle drugs into Dixon Correctional Center once and into Angola State Penitentiary twice.

Supporters for the rapper were seen hanging their heads low once the judge made that statement.

Lil Boosie is also charged with first-degree murder in the death of Terry Boyd.
