While Lil Wayne has everyone anticipating the release of Tha Carter IV, he is also giving us something else to look forward to.

The Young Money leader released his new mixtape, Sorry 4 the Wait, kicked off the second leg of his I Am Still Music tour yesterday night, and is currently prepping to drop his album, Tha Carter IV, on August 29.

In addition, XXL has learned that Weezy F Baby is also getting ready to start his own clothing line, which he dubbed Rebirth, the same title of his experimental 2010 album.

During XXL‘s interview with Wayne for our July/August 2011 issue, the New Orleans native revealed his plans to jump into the fashion business.

“I just figure that I… I'm funky,” he explained. “I got that from my stylist, Marisa. I'm funky, like she say. I wear a whole buncha items at one time, you know what I mean? I be figuring you at least want one of them items.

Like, ‘Damn, I'd love to have that safety pin he got on,' you know what I mean? Anything. I got on these types of shoes, these shorts, this sweater… A year from now, I want all these items to be mine. Rebirth. I want—I just figure people want to be funky like me, so I got my clothing line.”

Detroit bred and shady emcee Eminem is being accused by fans of being…well, shady.

According to published reports, fans in Scotland who attended the T In the Park Festival feel Eminem cheated the concert goers by allegedly lip synching his entire performance.

Eminem, who was already accused of being a bit demanding after allegedly refusing to walk 40 feet to the stage for his headlining performance at T In the Park yesterday after allegedly being concerned that he would get mud on his shoes, apparently ruffled fans feathers who waited five years for the performance.

According fans on Gigwise.com, Eminem's Milli Vanilli performance was not only staged, but also lack luster. One fan wrote:

““He mimed at a supposed live festival and he dint even know he was in Balado - he seemed to think he was in Edinburgh.”

Not all fans felt that the performance was terrible; some fans came to Em's defense stating that the performance was “classic.”

Enough of what others think, check out the video and let us know if you think it was live or was he indeed lip synching.

Eminem has released his new album "Recovery." See where this one ranks among his classics.

The road to Eminem's newest album “Recovery” has definitely been a highly anticipated and long awaited one. I mean, the man had to put out a bonus track CD after “Relapse” with extra songs just to satisfy fans as they eagerly waited for his 7th studio album. So does the album live up to the hype?

One of the first things you may notice overall about this album is that Marshall isn't playing any games. Sure we get the funny punch lines and smart a** remarks from Slim once in awhile, but unlike his other albums, Shady is going for a no-filler killer and has 16 straight tracks with no sort of skits.

As we listen to early tracks such as “On Fire” and “Won't Back Down,” we see Em goes on the offensive early and is looking to set a foundation with straight raw punch lines! Although the hooks can be somewhat annoying from a singy Eminem, we get a good break when Em brings Pink into the mix for “Wont Back Down.” In this track, Shady shows he is coming hard while showing his cleverness by literally turning down the track and spitting lines like:

“Trying to turn me down while I'm talking to you? Turn me back up, are you insane? Trying to talk over me in the car, shut the Fawk up while my Shyte's playing!”

However, as we continue the album, we do get another side of Eminem that balances out the album. During a Recovery phase, one must look at his past and regret some things. Songs like “Talking to Myself” and “Spacebound,” show the emotional side of Em as he spits about being at his lowest. We also get the pure genius of “25 To Life” where Em pulls the classic girl/Hip-Hop metaphor that we've seen so many artists do, and see that Em balances a good mixture of raw punchlines with emotional words, that shows the maturity of the rapper.

“Don't I give you enough of my time? You don't think so do you? Jealous when I spend some time with the girls, why I'm married to you? Man I don't know, but tonight I'm serving you with papers. I'm divorcing you, go marry someone else and make them famous.”

Eminem - "25 To Life"

The album continues with heaters like the Dr. Dre produced “So Bad,” and although it doesn't showcase many other artist besides Em, features like Rihanna and Lil Wayne mix a good blend of talent that will easily give Em two singles off the album.

Overall the album is a banger, though most of the hooks are slightly corny and Em's singing does get tedious, Em has proven to us that lyrically he cannot be messed with and is showing the young punch line spitters like Drake, how it's done.

With a few Michael J. Fox jokes and some lines thrown at pop stars, Em has shown us that he has matured without leaving his roots, something that we have been waiting for in an album for a long time.

It's been a long road, but I do think Eminem has “Recovered.”

Weezy F. Baby is expected to make an appearance in a federal court room today for a DNA test. The DNA is not to test the paternity of one of his children however; instead it's in connection with the gun charges he received in New York. A DNA profiling technique will take place today in Manhattan as part of his trial for his 2007 arrest for felony gun-possession.

The profiling technique is used to identify people in criminal cases from miniscule amounts of DNA. According to prosecutors, the DNA collected will indefinitely tie Wayne to a gun found on his tour bus after a scheduled concert. Wayne has pleaded not guilty to the charge. If convicted, he could face 3 ½ years in jail.

Wayne is also facing charges across the country in Arizona. He was arrested for possession of a narcotic drug for sale, possession of dangerous drugs, misconduct involving weapons and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia after police boarded his tour bus in 2008. As previously reported, his official court date for the charges is set for March 10, 2010.
