Rapper Snoop Dogg was finally granted access back to the United Kingdom. The ban was originally placed on the rapper after he and his entourage engaged in a 2006 scuffle at London's Heathrow Airport.

Snoop was also accused of using insulting words, for which he was detained and then later released. In March 2007, Snoop had hoped to return to the UK for a performance as well as being a spokesperson at an event to battle youth violence.

Immigration authorities in the UK refused to grant him a visa, and cited the airport scuffle, as well as prior U.S. convictions as a deter. This triggered a legal battle to overturn the decision, and in February of 2010 it was ruled that Snoop played a minor role in the Heathrow scuffle.

In February two senior immigration judges said Snoop played a “relatively minor” role in the Heathrow melee, which was “precipitated” by decisions made by airline staff and the police. Of his U.S. convictions, they said the fact that the punishment he received was probation and community service was an indication of “the degree of significance attached to them.”

Last month, Snoop applied for the temporary visa allowing him to perform at the concerts in the U.K. over the coming weeks.

A spokesman for the U.K.'s border agency confirmed that the visa had been granted, adding only: “Each application into the U.K. is considered on its individual merits.”

Hip-Hop veteran Snoop Dogg has tapped comedian turned rapper Mike Epps to be co-headliner for the limited run mini tour, “Imagine That!”

The tour which plans to start on April 30 in San Diego, will feature the pair in selected markets and combines their stage show with a story about two night-club performers who end up arrested and have to find their way out of prison.

Snoop who is a fan of Epps states that the performers' worlds will “combine well onstage.”

Find out more about the musical comedy after the jump!!! [More]

"Mike Epps is exceptional," Snoop told MTV. "He's the equivalent to Snoop Dogg in comedy. People love him. They respect his comedy, his views, his vision. He's not too political, he's not too raunchy. He's not too offensive. When you say Mike Epps, people laugh. They smile. They associate him with funny.

When you say Snoop Dogg, people get excited and start singing songs and thinking about certain moments in time when certain records took them to the next day. I had to find somebody who I could match and who could match me as far as putting my show with his show and making our show — a show of all shows that people could talk about for years."

Snoop says the show will have a Rat Pack feel with tuxedos, hair and wardrobe changes and, of course, the two sharing the stage at the same time.

In addition to his mini-tour, fans all over the world are anticipating the follow up More Malice, which is scheduled to drop on Tuesday (March 23).

"I like to be very creative. I like to give people all of Snoop Dogg when I give them an album. I felt like on the [Malice N Wonderland] record, I didn't give all of Snoop Dogg like I really could have.”

Snoop further stated to MTV,

“I had to make the record be about 12 songs and conceptually stick to the script as opposed to what I normally do with 20 to 21 songs on the album and overdose people. So what I did [on More Malice] was, I pulled back from the music and put a little more thought in the creative side as far as the visual aspects. Am I gonna just make one video and say, 'This is the single' and hope that people attract to it? Or was I gonna make a mini-movie to make people understand the philosophy behind this Malice N Wonderland project, and that's what I was on."

Snoop Dogg announced today that he will release the follow up to his latest release entitled More Malice: Deluxe Album and Movie on March 23rd.

The new album will feature 5 songs from the previously released Malice N Wonderland along with 5 entirely new songs and 2 remixes.

Included with More Malice will be a never-before-seen mini-movie entitled Malice N Wonderland: The Movie which features Snoop in the title role with cameos from Jamie Foxx, Xzibit, Nipsey Hussle and more.

The first highly anticipated single from More Malice is the remix to fan favorite "I Wanna Rock" featuring Jay Z. The two kings from their respective coasts take turns on the mic on this Scoop Deville produced club anthem.

The single will be available on iTunes on January 26th. Additionally, the Snoop Dogg and Soulja Boy song, "Pronto," gets the remix treatment with Southern alum Bun B jumping on the track.

Say what you will about Soula Boy; He killed Hip Hop with all the dancing. He dumbed the music down and made substance obsolete with less than mediocre lyrics. The fact that he even considers himself a rapper is a laughing matter.

No matter what darts people have to throw at the young entertainer, the point still stands that he is still in the game and is in the process of releasing his third official album The DeAndre Way.

Set to drop in April, there has been word that the “Crank Dat” hitmaker has tapped the likes of Snoop Dogg and Kanye West to assist him in crafting his upcoming project.

Usually strictly for the dance aspect, after the release of his second album, Soulja Boy made the decision to place more focus on actual lyrics as he has made an attempt to step his pen game up on tracks such as “Ice Cream Paint Job” with Dorrough and “Pronto” off of Snoop Dogg's Malice N Wonderland.

Speaking with RealTalkNY, the Chicago born, Atlanta bred gave more depth to his upcoming effort.

“I don't have specific songs that I say are gonna be album choice. BUT I have a million songs on Studio Drive and out of those million I know, at least, a thousand of them are Global #1 smashes.”

He added that unlike his previous two studio albums, this offering will show the rapper reinvented and how he intends to put himself into the race of becoming the best rapper.

“This album will show me evolving into [one] of the industry's next best rappers. I always f*cked with this music game because it's a competition, you got to PROVE YOURSELF. That's exactly what I'm doing and getting rich at the same time.”

Some people look at such words and laugh when associated with an act such as Soulja Boy, but the fact of the matter is that he's still standing and growing in popularity. Time will only tell exactly how his potential will bloom while in the game.

After 17 years in the game, Snoop has released his eleventh studio album Malice N Wonderland. One thing that fans will notice is that the MC often known for his G-Funk cool and swagger seems to be missing the laid back swag that Snoop has been known to bring to the game. Malice N Wonderland overall isn't the sound that you would expect from a 17 year veteran in the game of Hip-Hop. Snoop Dogg, who is known for going against the grain, has seemed to bow down to mass appeal and radio hits with Malice N Wonderland.

It seems that instead of sticking with the formula of soul inspired gangsta beats mixed with the laid back flow that we have all grown to know and love, that he has decided to switch the style to harder beats and more “jerkin/swagtastic” tracks fit the trends and sounds of the younger generation.

You can bet that "I Wanna Rock," which samples Rob Base and DJ E-Z Rock's classic party joint "It Takes Two" and twists it into a modern Hip-Hop anthem, which seemed tailored especially for the well-known L.A. dance style, jerkin', will be in heavy rotation. “I Wanna Rock “appears to be taking notes from the Doggystyle era by giving the new generation a Hip-Hop lesson by revisiting classic tracks.

The other hot joint that will be predominately played in Hip-Hop spots across America is the Dirty South inspired tracks "That's Tha Homie," which really seems like a reach for Snoop to keep tracks playing on the radio versus being creative. The high energy beat is cool, but it sounds like something that laid back MC would be featured on, not actually spit 16 bars over. His delivery was cool, but overall the track was reminiscent of “Turn My Swag On” by Soulja Boy minus the drawn out hook.

Normally when Snoop collaborates he seems to bring his A game, and with the R. Kelly R&B infused track “Pimpin' Ain't EZ,” it was no different. While R. Kelly's over-intense delivery had me ready to hit skip, Snoop's rhymes and beat production by Nottz make it somewhat hot.

The best track on the album which is somewhat reminiscent of the West Coast fire that once burned hot in 1994, is the track "Upside Down which features Problem and Nipsey Hussle with beat production from longtime producer Terrace Martin. This track is an absolute banger that will have every one from gangstas to gents bobbing their heads.

With versus like…

“Lil' mamma trying to show the Dogg her G-string, while she sing it ain't nuttin' but a g thang/ Her man throwing up signs letting me know that he bang, like I really give a muthf*ck what he claim./ You ni**a betta chill doggy, before I treat ‘em like an old b*tch. menopause him. I'll stop ya a*s right there and have the homies all up on your head like hair.”

it's definitely reminiscent of the Snoop lyrical flow that made him an OG in the game.

Overall, although Snoop has been a trendsetter for many years, it seems that with this album he has finally decided to start following a few. Not that the album doesn't have bangers, but it is far from the days of hard core lyrics, soulful and gangsta inspired beats (both during and post Dre) and amusing skits.

Long time Snoop Dizzle fans will be reluctant to hear what seems to be a younger twist on the same sound Snoop has had for the past few years. This album, creatively, is one Snoop's weaker ones to date. He has been known for so many years as MC that can not only set trends and create slang, but make it cool to be a grown up gangsta'.
This album proved that even ice cold playas in the game sometime fall off. I hope with his next album he will stick to the creative and ever evolving style that we have grown to love

With the release of Malice N Wonderland hitting stores this week, Snoop Dogg has been rampant with promotion.

The rapper appeared on The Tonight Show With Conan O'Brien this week where he discussed such topics as the album, his upcoming GPS technology as well as wanting to take over Oprah Winfrey's show when she leaves and putting a male spin on things.

“It would be the male version. We would have our point of views, our favorite books and our favorite things.”

When asked to elaborate on some of his favorite things, Snoop had no problem obliging with his own trademark response.

“Definitely cooking, greeneries, vegetation.”

While speaking on the GPS system, Uncle Snoop spoke on how the idea even came to fruition to have Snoop guiding drivers in their vehicles.

“I always sit back and get my mind right and come up with great ideas and this was one of those ideas that was spawned from a great session that I had.”

Having an international appeal as well as national, he also showed his love and appreciation for his fans in Germany and was surprised with a commercial he made while out there.

He even went as far as to provide a little performacne alongside The-Dream.
