TV One is launching a new variety show showcasing "high levels of entertainment" and luxury today, November 10, 2011.

Titled “Verses & Flow”, the Hill Harper hosted program will run back-to-back episodes.

Season premiere performances will be brought to you by Ledisi and Kem, and poets M'reld Green, Aaron Samuels, Thea Monyee and David Banner.

“Verses & Flow” will run Thursday evenings for a total of eight episodes concluding on December 22^nd.

Each show will consist of a performance by a neo-soul, R&B or Hip Hop artist, as well as spoken word and poetic performances by poets.

Each episode is hosted by accomplished film, television and stage actor, and bestselling author, Hill Harper.

Harper will introduce each segment of the show, which will also highlight the resurgence of spoken word.

Bringing a variety of entertainment and styles, the show on November 17^th will include songstress Estelle and poets Javon Johnson, Charles Peters, and Chauncey Beaty.

Upcoming shows will feature such talent as Tyrese, Pharoahe Monch, Angie Stone, Bone Crusher, Naturally 7, Melanie Fiona and Marsha Ambrosius.

"Verses & Flow" airs every Thursday at 8 PM PST/11 PM EST.

The Canadian singer who's prepping for the release of her The MF Life album October 25 has released the visual for her track about a woman scorned.

In it we see Fiona waiting for he spouse while parties at the bar and at the casino.

Melanie Fiona Promotes 'The MF Life'

Songstress Melanie Fiona has finally released the promo pictures from her The MF LIfe  photoshoot with Kirk Edwards.

The singer is set to release her sophomore album October 25th, with features from Chuck Harmony, Jack Splash, Jerry "Wonda" Duplessis, Salaam Remi and Andrea martin.

Before the album's release Melanie will release The MF Mixtape.

“I've pushed myself creatively to go in places, to become a little more vulnerable, to show a sexier side, to use my voice as a different instrument on this album,” she says.

Melanie Fiona joined Marsha Ambrosius last night at Center Stage Atlanta where the soul singer treated fans to her melodious vocals and music with a message.

As previously reported, Fiona is touring the country with Ambrosius as co-headliner for BET's Music Matters tour promoting a complete musical experience by combining meaningful lyrics with passionate performances.

After the show, HipHopWired got a chance to sit down with the songstress who spoke on a number of topics including her upcoming MF Life album and work with fellow Roc Nation artists Wale and J. Cole.

Fiona, who is co-managed by Jay-Z's Roc Nation Empire like Wale, added vocals to his Attention Deficit track “Beautiful Bliss” featuring J.Cole.

And according to Fiona, she's still waiting on the lyricists to set a time and date for the video.

Melanie Fiona And Marsha Ambrosius To Embark On Music Matters Tour

While fans eagerly anticipate her new album, Melanie Fiona has joined forces with ex-Floetry songstress Marsha Ambrosius and Southern soul singer Anthony David for the second installment of BET's Music Matters Tour.

Co-headlined by both Fiona and Ambrosius, BET's Music Matters Tour II hopes to give audiences a complete musical experience by combining meaningful lyrics with passionate performances that will prove just how much music still matters.

The outing kicks off on March 16 at the South Side Music Hall in Dallas, Texas and wraps on April 17 at the Von Braun Center in Huntsville, Alabama.

Speaking on her new ties to the ex-Floetry songstress, Fiona has released a statement saying,

“I love Marsha [Ambrosius] — I've loved her forever — and we recently got to know each other a little better over the last year,” said MELANIE FIONA, “so it was just a perfect union, great energy, great music on the tour, and we couldn't be more excited.”

Melanie Fiona's second album The MF Life is set to hit stores this summer.

Marsha Ambrosius's long-awaited solo debut album, Late Nights, Early Mornings is in stores now.

Originally produced by Quincy Jones and co-written by Lionel Richie and Michael Jackson, the song made $30 million for African humanitarian programs 25 years ago.

Now in light of the devastation in Haiti, Richie and Jones have put together an all-star lineup of artists to remake the song to help the embattled country.

Helping to produce the song is Wyclef Jean who'll be joined by producer RedOne and producer-musical director Ricky Minor.

Lending vocals to the song will be Drake, Lil Wayne, Miley Cyrus, T-Pain, Kanye West,  Jay-Z, Adam Levine, Jason Mraz, Eminem, Justin Bieber, Kid Cudi, Usher, LL Cool J, Bizzy Bone, Snoop Dogg, Anthony Hamilton, Gladys Knight and Trey Songz as well as a number of others.
