The National Basketball Association announced on Tuesday that it is renaming its regular-season most valuable player award after the legendary Hall of Famer Michael Jordan. The former Chicago Bull is one of six to get this honor, joining other pioneers such as Wilt Chamberlain, George Mikan, Hakeem Olajuwon, John Havlicek and Jerry West.
