Every Black man with a beard that's sitting next to Meek Mill is not necessarily Rick Ross. This is a concept ESPN (or Getty Images) clearly failed to comprehend (see the photo below). Yep, that's Meek Mill taking in last nights Celtics vs. Sixers playoff game with who we're guessing is one his Philly peeps, NOT the Miami Heat loving Bawse despite what the caption will have you believe.

You would think the faux-Rozay not sporting his trademark sunglasses, and a few pounds (no slander) would have led whoever uploaded this photo to double check that caption, right?No sir.

One of Hip-Hop's biggest sports fans (and front runners) Lil Wayne caught up with The Los Angeles Times and talked about his favorite player, Kobe Bryant. Although he frequents Miami Heat games, Lil Wayne says that the Los Angeles Lakers have been his favorite team since he started watching basketball. Moreover, he spoke on his appreciation for the franchise player, Kobe Bryant.

“He's inspired not only songs, but he's inspired me in life in general just the way he attacks things, the way he never backs down, the way he fights through injury,” Lil Wayne said.

“Not only do he fight through injury, and not only do he play through injury, he excel through injury. I take those type of things and I just apply them to my everyday life.” Wayne famously named a song after Kobe Bryant a little bit over two years ago, to "inspire him to chase another championship," which he did in 2010. 10 Years Ago Today, Allen Iverson Was Talkin' 'Bout Practice [VIDEO]

Ten years ago, Allen Iverson unleashed one of the most memorable rants in the history of pro sports. Iverson, one of hip-hop and sports most iconic figures, went on a rant about practice. We were talking about practice, man. Practice? Yes, practice. In 2012, it seems like all Allen Iverson would love to do for an NBA team is exactly what he detested in 2002. Hit the jump and read the transcript, word for word, about Allen Iverson and practice, man. Practice?

Iverson: "If Coach tells you that I missed practice, then that's that. I may have missed one practice this year but if somebody says he missed one practice of all the practices this year, then that's enough to get a whole lot started. I told Coach Brown that you don't have to give the people of Philadelphia a reason to think about trading me or anything like that. If you trade somebody, you trade them to make the team better...simple as that. I'm cool with that. I'm all about that. The people in Philadelphia deserve to have a winner. It's simple as that. It goes further than that.

Reporter: "So you and coach Brown got caught up on Saturday about practice?"

Iverson: "If I can't practice, I can't practice. It is as simple as that. It ain't about that at all. It's easy to sum it up if you're just talking about practice. We're sitting here, and I'm supposed to be the franchise player, and we're talking about practice. I mean listen, we're sitting here talking about practice, not a game, not a game, not a game, but we're talking about practice. Not the game that I go out there and die for and play every game last it's my last but we're talking about practice man. How silly is that?

Now I know that I'm supposed to lead by example and all that but I'm not shoving that aside like it don't mean anything. I know it's important, I honestly do but we're talking about practice. We're talking about practice man. (laughter from the media crowd) We're talking about practice. We're talking about practice. We're not talking about the game. We're talking about practice. When you come to the arena, and you see me play, you've seen me play right, you've seen me give everything I've got, but we're talking about practice right now. (more laughter)

Reporter: "But it's an issue that your coach continues to raise?"

Iverson: "Hey I hear you, it's funny to me to, hey it's strange to me too but we're talking about practice man, we're not even talking about the game, when it actually matters, we're talking about practice."

Reporter: "Is it possible that if you practiced, not you but you would make your teammates better?"

Iverson: "How in the hell can I make my teammates better by practicing?

Allen Iverson's Wife Wants A Restraining Order Against The Former NBA Star

For a former NBA MVP, Allen Iverson stays losing. TMZ reports that A.I.'s estranged wife, Tawanna Iverson, has filed papers requesting a restraining order against the former NBA point guard. Tawanna alleges in the documents that her husband "has engaged in increasingly contemptuous, threatening, and disturbing behavior."

The Iverson's ongoing divorce has been full of more drama than an episode of the Real Housewives of Atlanta. Tawanna has previously requested that A.I. document every single woman he slept with—other than her, of course—after their marriage. Despite multiple reports of his shaky finances, Tawanna also believes that the Answer is hiding sizeable chunks of cash to prevent her from getting her hands on it.

Last we saw A.I.? He was kicking it with Swizz Beatz.

Steve Francis' Trickin', Simpin' and Struggle Bars [VIDEO]

I didn't want to believe that this was a real video, but damn it is. Once upon a time, Steve Francis was one of the most explosive and prolific point guards in the NBA. A short time after his career has come to an end, Steve Francis is rapping (terribly) and making Murder Inc. tribute videos. All of the crappy elements of a song are way too apparent in this; a cheesy hook, an awkward flow, and a whole lot of simpin'. The worst part about this is that it looked like this video cost "The Franchise" a whole lot of coin. I can't lie, this might be the worst athlete-rapping video I've ever seen. Take a look at Steve Francis's "The Finer Things."

Metta World Peace (Ron Artest From Queensbridge) Viciously Elbows James Harden [VIDEO]

Today, Metta World Peace once again became crazy Ron Artest from Queensbridge. During the Lakers vs. Thunder game, World Peace threw down a dunk and while celebrating James Harden made the mistake of being in the vicinity of the Tru Warier Records rapper/basketball player. After pounding his chest, World Peace sent a vicious elbow toward Harden's dome. The versatile Thunder player was layed out on the court while World Peace was ejected from the game after being hit with a flagrant 2 foul.

See the video of the incident below for yourself, props to Jose3030. Was Harden the victim of an accidental elbow or was World Peace out there throwing bows?

Also, pray that James Harden is okay.
