Celebrity interviewer Nardwuar was back with another odd but entertaining encounter.

This time Rostrum Records rapper Mac Miller talked Pittsburgh rap history with Nardwuar, who knew more about Pittsburgh rap than anyone who is not from the Steel City should know.

The 35-year-old man was awarded $50,000 after accusing the city of Pittsburgh of violating his civil rights, an accusation that stems from an incident in 2006.

In April of that year, Hackbart shot that bird at a motorist, repeating the gesture at another driver after being publicly scolded. Fortunately for him, the second driver was an active, on-duty member of law enforcement.

Initially in hot water for the move, the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) has backed the rude man during the entire course of his ordeal.

A federal judge has postponed the case indefinitely, prompting Pittsburgh's city council to settle the case themselves.

Congrats for sticking it to “the man” and winning Mr. Hackbart!

The famed organization marched in a protest through Pittsburgh's Oakland neighborhood, hoping to spread their insight on the separate and unequal educational system that has disturbingly become the norm within the city.

Recently, several members of Pittsburgh's board of education have spoken out about closing some of the city's schools. Unsurprisingly, the schools chosen were all sub-par, low-grade learning facilities; the “Black” schools.

In response to the NAACP's allegations, Superintendent Mark Roosevelt offered an explanation into the possible move by saying that there might not even be any need to take any action at all.

“We don't even have a plan,” said Roosevelt to local media. “ Some consultants came forward with some recommendations based on values of buildings, but there are no school closings planned. We are months away from bringing a plan forward, no less the board making decisions.”

The couple was shocked to find the charred remains of what was once a staple in the old south upon their doorstep.

Residing in a predominately white neighborhood, the Walbecks have been a staple with the community for many years, often adopting imperiled children as a means to spread to spread their own kind of love. This heinous mental assault marks the first time that the couple has been targeted for a hate crime.

The latest addition to the Walbeck family, Shaq, is a linebacker and fullback for local United High School; he is the family's first Black child.

Local officials are unsure as to whether the cross burning had any affiliation with the United High's football loss.

For those that are unaware, Khalifa is a 22-year-old rapper from Pittsburgh whose rap career launched in 2006 from his debut album, Show and Prove which was able to catch the eye of Rolling Stone as an artist to look out for.

Since then, the young rapper has been on his hustle in the mixtape game.  As an army brat, his music must have been heavily influenced, in theme, from having to move from country to country as he has some fixation with planes.

Recently the rapper partnered up with Louisiana's own Curren$y for the mixtape How Fly and released his own Flight School.

His latest effort was Burn After Rolling which dropped earlier this week.

All of this has been a precursor to the big show and the release of his second official album, Deal or No Deal, which is set for a release on November 24.

Fame usually doesn't come to those that wait for it and the rapper makes sure that he moves as much as he can to make sure that people know his name.

Catching up with Fab5ent.com, the rising star spoke on his work ethic and drive for the music.  Being a local artist is not acceptable in the climb to success.

“There's more work on the road then there is in Pittsburgh.  To get this thing really popping, I have to go to other states and expand the brand.  I've been performing everywhere, just trying to get my face out there and staying busy on the Internet.  I be in Pittsburgh like 2-3 days out of the week.”

The rapper also spoke on the CMJ Music Marathon where he opened on for U-God from the Wu Tang Clan.

“It's basically a showcase for all the new talent; what's popping.  Some people they might know about, some they might not know about and they are just learning about.  People such as myself who have an underground buzz and a hardcore following and I'm just happy to perform there and just have a feature show.”

Fans that are looking for more in their musical pleasures need to stop making the statement that Hip-Hop has lost its way and search thoroughly.  Sometimes a person has to dig deep into the crates to find a gem.  Drake isn't the only one out there.

Michelle kicked off her hosting duties Thursday with dinner at the farm of Teresa Heinz Kerry, the wife of John Kerry. The dinner featured food grown on the farm, fitting because Michelle is known for eating food from her White House garden.

Today she's taking the ladies to visit the Pittsburgh Creative and Performing Arts School. They will visit classrooms where students rehearse for upcoming performances and be treated to a concert from cellist Yo Yo Ma, singer Trisha Yearwood and singer Sara Bareilles.

Following that they'll end their time together at the Andy Warhol Museum for a private tour and luncheon. They'll see some of his most famous works and be encouraged to have one of Warhol's images of a flower silk-screened on to a tote bag to take home as a souvenir. They will also open one of the coveted time capsules from the artist housed there.

According to his cyber diary, George Sodini was in full support of President Barack Obama, and even held off his murder/suicide plans to watch the outcome of the November election.

George Sodini, the shooter, writes in a post dated Nov. 5, 2008, “Planned to do this in the summer but figure to stick around to see the election outcome. This particular one got so much attention and I was just curious. Not like I give a flying fcuk who won, since this exit plan was already planned. Good luck to Obama! He will be successful. The liberal media LOVES him. Amerika has chosen The Black Man. Good!”

He continued: In light of this I got ideas outside of Obama's plans for the economy and such. Here it is: Every black man should get a young white girl hoe to hone up on. Kinda a reverse indentured servitude thing. Long ago, many a older white male landowner had a young Negro wench girl for his desires. Bout' time tables are turned on that s*it. Besides, dem young white hoez dig da bruthrs! LOL. More so than they dig the white dudes! Every daddy know when he sends his little girl to college, she be bangin a bruthr real good. I saw it. “Not my little girl”, daddy says! (Yeah right!!) Black dudes have thier choice of best white hoez. You do the math, there are enough young white so all the brothers can each have one for 3 or 6 months or so.

Later, Sodini writes of the President, “But I got a promotion and a raise, even in this Shytety Obama ecomomy.”

Sodini prolonged his murderous plans for months and expressed how he was glad he waited, in addition to a time in January when he took loaded guns to the gym, but could not bring himself to carry out his mission.

"Glad I stayed around. All these days off are great. I will shoot for Tuesday, January 6, 2009, at maybe 8:15. I have list of to-do items to make." On January 9 he wrote,
"I chickened out! Shyte! I brought the loaded guns, everything. Hell!"

For weeks upon end until he finally decided to execute his plan, Sodini wrote about his plans and how, in death, he would love to share his story with the world...if it helps.

His final entry read: Also, any of the “Practice Papers” left on my coffee table I used or the notes in my gym bag can be published freely. I will not be embarased, because, well, I will be dead. Some people like to study that stuff. Maybe all this will shed insight on why some people just cannot make things happen in their life, which can potentially benefit others.
