This Can't Be Life: When Stage Crashing Goes Wrong

Let's be honest, we've all gotten a little hype while at a concert of our favorite artist. If you're not excited to see said artist perform, why pay for the ticket? Controlled enthusiasm is always encouraged. But, you never want to be "That Person," that had a little too much fun and became a star on TMZ, MediaTakeout, and of course, Bossip.

In some instances we see fans that get so excited, that they decide to make an appearance on stage with their favorite performer. Sharing that moment with your new bff can go extremely wrong as seen in a recent report by TMZ when an overzealous fan jumped on stage to share a bond, hug, or some sort of WWE Wrestling move with DMX. Of all people DMX is probably the LAST artist you should attempt to jump on stage to greet. I guess X didn't respond to that kite he sent him, while locked away in his most recent prison stint. While it wasn't the smartest of decisions as you'll see, I doubt he'd attempt it again. In the words of Kevin Hart, "You Gon' Learn Today!"

Naturally, this made us think about some of the best & worst instances of Stage Crashing. Continue on to see what happens when fans decided to say hello to Weezy, Jay-Z, Kid Cudi, Snoop and more.

Plies can breathe a little easier now as the troubles from the 2006 nightclub shooting have come to an end.

Plies and his brother Ronell Levatte were found liable for the 2006 club shooting have to fork over $200K total to the victims.

The award is a far cry from the $10-million the victims were seeking.

Plies lawyer also stated that the victims would have actually came out better as Plies tried to previously settle the case out of court with an offer higher than what the jury awarded.

Plies Takes The Stand After Being Sued For $10-Million Over Nightclub Shooting

As previously reported, Plies trial began Monday, December 5thregarding a ten million dollar lawsuit against the rapper, alleging Plies and his entourage opened fire in a nightclub on July 6, 2006.

The five plaintiffs in the lawsuit all claim to be victims of non-life threatening gunshot wounds.

Plies, whose real name is Algernod Washington and his brother, record-producer Ronell Levatte are charged with allegedly firing the guns that wounded these individuals, in addition to hiring bodyguards who participated in the supposed shooting in July 2006.

The plaintiffs have claimed the shooting was a deliberate act to increase Plies' image and credibility in the gangsta rap industry. In an attempt to indict the entire rap community for this alleged event, the original defendants also included Plies' record company, Big Gates Records.

Watch Plies take the stand as his testimony brings out facts about his upbringing: high-school homecoming king, best dressed student and a full-ride scholarship to Miami of Ohio University to play football. Attorneys show that there's two sides to the man who calls himself PLIES.
GTN's Sia Nyorkor has this story.

We'll follow back up with this story once the verdict is released.

10 Rappers That Will Rob You If Music Doesn't Workout

Lets face it, the rap game isn't for everyone.

Albums aren't selling like the used to and regardless of what Rick Ross is talking about, not everyone is riding around in a Maybach.

For some rappers, instead of working late nights in the studio, living life on the road and getting raped by record labels and shady music industry executives, it might just be easier to get out here and rob somebody.

We're by no means encouraging a life of crime, but if this rap money starts slowing up (and in some cases the rap money already has for some of these artists), here are 10 rappers that will rob your a$$ if it came down to it.

10 Artists That Should Delete Their Twitter Accounts

Launched on July 15th, 2006, social networking website Twitter has gone from a microblogging hangout spot for bloggers and internet nerds to one of the top social networks in the world.

In just five years Twitter has grown to 200 million+ users, while bringing in an estimated $140 in total revenue.

And over the years, Twitter has been a great place for users to pass the time, keep up with friends, vent aimlessly in 140 characters or less or receive updates on their favorite celebrities.

By now everyone who's anyone has an account on Twitter, but that doesn't mean everyone needs an account.

Send the wrong tweet to your followers, and your career could go from the top of the world to bottom of the lake...just ask Asher Roth.

Today, as we celebrate Twitter's 5th birthday, we take a look at 10 Artists That Should Delete Their Twitter Accounts before it's too late.
