In an exclusive interview with NBC New York, the former detective asserted that his actions on that fateful November night were part of his duties as a police officer. "I was fed to the wolves if, you know, you wanna use that," said Isnora regarding his firing. "That's exactly what the Commissioner and the Mayor did."

Isnora maintains that while part of an undercover operation at a Queens strip club under suspicion of running a prostitution ring, he and other officers witnessed Bell having an argument with a rival when they claim a man in Bell's group mentioned grabbing a gun. In an ensuing fracas, Isnora claims he saw one of Bell's companions go for a gun which prompted him and the other officers to fire the rain of bullets into the car Bell was driving.

After a department investigation following years of protests, it was determined that the Isnora and the others acted improperly in their shooting of the unarmed Bell. Still, Isnora feels betrayed by the NYPD and he maintains that he did what was necessary at the time.  "I'm not looking back, no apologies, no regrets," Isnora continued. "I came to grips with what I did.”

Isnora intends to file action in order to regain his position with the force.

Officers Robert Faulcon, Robert Gisevius, Kenneth Bowen, Anthony Villavaso and mastermind Arthur Kaufman were all slapped with sentences in New Orleans U.S. District Court ranging from six to 65 years stemming from the civil rights investigation.

The men were all involved in a cover up after maliciously killing teenager James Brissette, mentally challenged man Ronald Madison, and the wounding of four others atop the Danzinger Bridge as survivors of the epic storm foraged for food and supplies. Kaufman, a since-retired sergeant of the force who was assigned to investigate the shootings, was charged with helping to hide the crimes of the officers. Although he was not charged with any of the shootings, he received the lightest sentence at six years.

Faulcon, an African-American man, received the harshest sentence at 65 years while Gisevius and Bowen both received 40 years for their involvement; Anthony Villavaso was sentenced to 38 years. The officers went to great lengths to exonerate themselves of the crimes, fabricating witness accounts, writing false reports and even conspiring to plant a gun at the scene. Judge Kurt Engelhardt presided over the case and listened to hours of testimony from attorneys on both sides and also heard from the relatives of both the officers and victims.

The sentenced officers plan to appeal the sentences, with other officers that were on the New Orleans police force during the Katrina debacle also facing charges and sentencing as well.

Chamberlain's family insists that the senior citizen was startled by police banging on his door, which kicked-off the altercation. One officer is alleged to have asked to use the bathroom, and responded with a racial slur when his request was denied. "I don't give a f--k, n---er, open the door!" he said.

Police eventually removed the door and entered the unit where they found Chamberlain sitting in his boxers. "The minute they got in the house, they didn't even give him one command," said the family's lawyer. "They never mentioned 'put your hands up.' They never told him to lay down on the bed. The first thing they did ... you could see the Taser light up ... and you could see it going directly toward him."

In lieu of the media spotlight that has been placed on Trayvon Martin's killing, the New York Daily News mentioned the obvious comparisons to both shootings. "Like 17-year-old Trayvon Martin, Chamberlain was African-American, and his death has added fuel to the growing national debate that has flared since the Florida teen was killed on Feb. 26," wrote Juan Gonzalez. Unlike Martin, Chamberlain's case lacks the strong social media, and celebrity backing as the unarmed teen's death, but that may change, given the country's heightened sensitivity to racially driven issues.
Aside from the coverage given to the case by local newspaper The Daily White Plains, people have been taking to Facebook and Twitter to further spread the word, while a petition to have audio and video of the incident released, has received upwards of 170,000 signatures.

Perry made the turn to shake potential stalkers, but when the cops got hold of him, he claims to have been harassed, because of his skin color. In an entry on his Facebook page, Perry explained that the whole incident occurred as he was leaving his massive Atlanta studio. "A few days before President Obama was supposed to speak at my studio, I was leaving the studio, headed to the airport," he wrote. "Most times when I leave the studio I have an unmarked escort. Other times I constantly check in my rearview mirror to be sure that I'm not being followed. It's a safety precaution that my security team taught me. As I got to an intersection, I made a left turn from the right lane... and was pulled over by two police officers."

Perry immediately pulled over, put his vehicle in park, and waited for the officers to approach. He informed them that he made the illegal turn to make sure he wasn't being followed, to which the officer replied "Why do you think someone would be following you?'” Before he could respond, a second officer started banging on the passenger window of his car, demanding that he roll it down and put his foot on the break. Given the hostile response, (especially since he noted that the car was already in park), the 42-year-old concluded that the incident was racially driven.

A third officer—who just happened to be a Black man—pulled up as Perry was stepping outside of his car and took his associates out of earshot. He likely explained the Madea star's status, because the officers became "apologetic." Even though he was let go, Perry used the event to comment on racial injustices in this country, citing the killing of Trayvon Martin, and the disappearances of fellow Floridians, Terrance Williams and Felipe Santos—who were put in the backseat of a squad car eight years ago, and never seen again—as examples. "Although we have made significant strides with racial profiling in this country, the world needs to know that we are still being racially profiled, and until this situation has improved greatly, I'm not sure how a murder in Florida can be protected by a 'stand your ground law.'"

He ended his post with a call to action."RACIAL PROFILING SHOULD BE A HATE CRIME INVESTIGATED BY THE FBI!!!," he wrote.

Granted, Perry does make a good point, but it's hard to take him seriously since did admit to making an illegal turn and has made millions being a Black man in a dress.

Police brutally and overaggressive behavior seems to continue across the country, as a 13-year-old boy was shot eight times by police in Chicago on Monday night.

According to reports, 13-year-old Jimmell Cannon was in serious to critical condition after being shot eight times by Chicago police officers, who said the boy was holding a BB gun.

Cannon's family deny police's reports, saying the boy was unarmed.

My Fox Chicago reports:

Police said they were called to the area at about 11 p.m.

Monday to investigate shots fired.

They saw the boy, who matched a description. Police said he had a weapon and refused to drop it when police told him to.

The boy's parents, Kenyatta Cannon and Jimmy Porter, said the boy wasn't holding anything and had his hands in the air when he was shot.

They said their family was attending a birthday party at Kenyatta Cannon's mother's house Monday night and Jimmel's little brother was with him when the shooting happened.

Jimmel's parents said the boy was supervised at the time of the incident, as well.

With varying sides to this story, we'll have to see how this story develops, and pray that 13-year-old Jimmell Cannon pulls through.

According to published reports, 44-year-old Selma Elmore approached an on duty officer and politely asked if she had an outstanding warrant,

After Lockland police officer Dan Lyons informed Elmore she did have an outstanding warrant, p0lice report that Elmore tried to run away.

The Cincinnati Enquirer reports that the chase ended when Elmore pushed Lyons into a building ,injuring his elbow, and other officers apprehended her.

Upon capture police notified Elmore that she had an outstanding warrant for failing to pay a drug conviction fine – and that they were now adding the charge of resisting arrest.

As of press time, Elmore was currently released on bond.

According to published reports, Kenneth Bonds confronted two teens outside his house by yelling at them to pull their pants up.

When the teens ignored the request police state Bonds responded by pulling out a black semi-automatic pistol and firing several shots striking one teen in the buttocks .

“You want to do something, but you're not going that far, “neighbor Cowboy Ward told press, "A clear-minded person wouldn't go that far, to hurt somebody over how they dress."

Bonds was arrested and has been charged with two counts of aggravated assault and as of Monday afternoon, was released on bond.

Police say Bonds admitted to them to shooting the teen after a heated argument over saggy pants.

The teenager who was shot was taken to a hospital where he was treated and released.

Meanwhile, Bonds is due in court next week.

Things appeared to get extremely heated after things hit the fan in the Anthony household as a result of Stacks sending a few flirtatious tweets to NBA star Carmelo Anthony last week, and his wife Lala caught a glimpse.

According to published reports, Carmelo Anthony decided to handle the situation and show that he doesn't play with his family.

Carmelo Tweeted the following reponse:

“I got 5k for whoever see @ihatekatstacks  and slap the Shyte out of her pigeon faced a**. Real talk. U f**cked with the right one now.”

Not soon after, Carmelo's Twitter account was deleted with him later claiming it was hacked.

“Im back on! My account was hacked.Thanks twitter for getting me str8. Jst finished my first movie in China now im headed back to the States”

After the threat, Stacks; the mother of 9-month old baby boy, tweeted the following claim that the police are now involved in the situation:

"So the FBI getting involved since its an internet case. Just filed a police report on @CarmeloAnthony. Don't you ever put my life and my son life in danger!"

If charged Carmelo could face a conspiring to commit criminal acts charge.

Although it is unclear if Kat Stacks really filed the report or if Carmelo's Twitter was actually hacked, one thing is for certain, Kat Stacks better back up before she gets caught slipping again.

A Las Vegas woman that was reported missing for over four months was found…in her home.

According to published reports, 67-year-old Billie Jean James was reported missing by her husband and family in April.

Police report that the woman's home was so filled with clutter that they had to use the aide of cadaver dogs from a unit that helped locate bodies at ground zero after Sept. 11, to search the home with no luck due to stockpiles of clothes and other clutter.

It wasn't until her husband was rummaging through the home, that the body was discovered by accident.

Although the woman appeared to have died in her home, a spokeswoman says it could take weeks to determine when and how she died.

Now if the dogs worked 9-11 and found bodies, I think they dogs may need to be retired because it seems they are no longer adept at doing their job

The woman's husband has not been named as a suspect.

According to published reports, Dr. Dan Duffy was charged with simple misdemeanor assault after a female patient filed a complaint that during her examination Duffy masturbated after massaging her lower right back and buttocks area.

The woman stated that she was woman being examined for a back injury and was lying on her stomach when Duffy pulled up her shirt to expose her lower back.

The woman said that after the exam her mother took her to the police station and police swabbed her lower back for evidence.

The state Division of Criminal Investigation lab confirmed that sperm from the lower back swabs on the woman matched Duffy's DNA profile.

Duffy has pleaded not guilty to the misdemeanor charge.

He's requested a jury trial.
