Obama, who was in the area for a speech, is often warmly greeted by elected officials when he lands. Brewer, who in 2010 signed a controversial immigration law the president has opposed, gave Obama a handwritten letter inviting him to have lunch with her and visit the Arizona-Mexico border.

The president in turn, according to a White House official, "said he'd be glad to meet with her again, but did note that after their last meeting, a cordial discussion in the Oval Office, the governor inaccurately described the meeting in her book."

The pictures of the scene illustrated more than the words. Brewer pointed her finger at Obama, while the President walked away in the middle of the conversation. Brewer told reporters later Obama "was a little disturbed about my book."

I swear since Obama became became President, some of these white folks have gotten so disrespectful to the Commander In Chief position.

They never would have pulled this ish with the Bush's.

Finally the B.S. has come to an end and the Birther movement  can be done with.

A U.S. appeals court has tossed out a lawsuit challenging President Barack Obama's U.S. citizenship and his eligibility to serve as Commander in Chief.

Ever since Barack ran for office and was elected, Birthers (read: Haters) have been trying to claim that the Commander In Chief was born in Kenya and not Hawaii; claiming his birth certificate was a forgery. As we all know, you have to be born in the United States to be its President.

The Associated Press reports that the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals unanimously ruled Thursday that none of the challengers had legal standing to file the lawsuit.   The plaintiffs included some of Obama's political rivals, taxpayers and military personnel.

Since the President can't say it, we'll say it for him...

President Obama let the GOP know that it ain't a soft bone in his body  as they like to swear out that  he practices "appeasement."

When a reporter asked about Republican candidates taking aim at his approach to foreign policy,

Obama had this to say:

"Ask Osama bin Laden and the 22 out of 30 top Al Qaeda leaders who've been taken off the field whether I engage in appeasement, or whoever's left out there, ask them about that."

First Lady Michelle Obama is the latest cover story for an issue of Upscale magazine.

In it we see then mother of two dish on a number of topics including her upbringing.

For her "National Treasure" feature, the mag highlights the speech she gave to Spelman College graduates this year at their commencement ceremony.

“Some of you may have grown up like me, in neighborhoods where few had the chance to go to college.”

Also highlighted will be her unique style, her comparison to previous first ladies and the positive impact her marriage to President Obama is having on the Black family.

Lil Wayne spoke to VIBE magazine about some of his political views and his sentiment was not far from Kanye West's bold statement about the former president.

Weezy expressed his thoughts on the Republican Party and President Obama.

When asked about some of the GOP White House hopefuls, Wayne says he's not surprised at the far-right's view of the world.

“You learn from what the right-wing is doing and you take something from it,” Wayne tells VIBE. “I feel like as a people the most that we can do is better ourselves and learn.

Then look at yourself and ask ‘Am I the person they're talking about or am I not?' You have to make the most of who you are because the Republicans are never going to like us.”

Wayne also made a remark that the right-wing criticisms of President Obama have more to do with his color than his policies.

We're going to need President Barack Obama to get his people under control...

According to reports, President Obama's uncle was stopped on suspicion of drunken driving, told police he planned to arrange bail through the White House and was being held without bail by immigration officials.

Reports state that Onyango Obama was arrested last week in Framingham, Massachusetts, just outside of Boston, after police said he made a rolling stop through a stop sign and nearly caused a cruiser to hit his sport utility vehicle.

MSNBC.com reports:

Police said that after being booked at the police station, Obama was asked whether he wanted to make a telephone call to arrange for bail.

"I think I will call the White House," he stated, according to a police report filed in Framingham District Court.

Police said Obama, who's originally from Kenya and is the half-brother of the president's late father, pleaded not guilty Friday and was being held without bail on a detainer from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

In a court document, ICE said he had an earlier deportation or removal order.

Obama, 67, was charged with operating under the influence of alcohol, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and failure to yield the right of way.

Onyango must have thought namedropping the President would be a "get out of jail free" card.
