West coast emcee The Game is well known for his lyrical jabs at other emcees.

As previously reported, The Game stated that his latest mix tape was the ‘first album that has no lyrical disses towards “any one” and fans still “appreciated it.”

With his new found revelation, The Game states that it was because of Pharrell that he is no longer taking shots at veteran emcee Jay Z.

In an interview with New York's Power 105.1's DJ Envy, The Game discusses why he no longer feels the need to diss Jay Z.

“Pharrell pulled me to the side and told me that he would work with me, but in order for that to happen I couldn't diss Jay[Z],” The Game said. “[He let me know that] Jay has respect for what I do, just like I have respect for what he does, so I was like ‘cool'.”

In addition to discussing the deading of beefs, The Game also revealed how he started working with Dr. Dre again.

Peep the video after the break: [More]

“Dre actually approached me,” The Game continued. “He asked me what would it take for me to work with him again and I just told him nothing; I will work with Dre just because he's Dre.”

A month before its scheduled release date Game is announcing plans to push back his R.E.D. album once again.

As previously reported, Game pushed the project back to July 6th which would have put him in line to compete with Big Boi's Sir Lucious Left foot: The Son of Chico Dusty album.

Now however reps for the rapper are confirming that instead of July, the album will hit shelves in “late summer.”

Game has reportedly pushed the album back to record new music and will reveal a solid release date at a later time.

The album was originally set to drop in December before getting pushed back to February, then June 15th, then June 29th before settling on July 6th.

R.E.D. is executive produced by Dr.Dre and Pharrell and will be released through Aftermath/Star Trak/Interscope Records.

How many push back is this now? Is this really coming out?

For fans eagerly awaiting Game's R.E.D. album they'll have to wait a little longer, again.

As previously reported R.E.D. was scheduled to drop in December in time for the Christmas holiday but was pushed back to February and then June 15th before settling on a June 29th release date.

That date has been pushed back once again however and R.E.D. won't hit stores until July 6th.
The new release date puts Game in line to go head to head with Big Boi's Sir Lucious Leftfoot: The Son of Chico Dusty.

The June 15th release date would have put him up against Drake's Thank Me Later and Young Jeezy's Thug Motivation 103.

In related news Game recently released his Red Room mixtape with help from DJ Skee.

The mixtape features Fabolous, Busta Rhymes and Jadakiss and can be downloaded here.

Game is becoming the latest victim of an always frustrating, always unfortunate trend in hip-hop; album push backs. Hurricane Game confirmed to his fans via Twitter that his latest installment, R.E.D., would be put on hold.

Originally set to drop in December, a new release date has yet to be confirmed. He tweeted about the mishap saying,

“Album is officially pushed back. says Interscope, so that I can finish wit Dre without having to rush him, myself or the album. Think R.E.D.”

Not dwelling on his own unfortunate predicament, he paid homage to his big homie Snoop mentioning that his Malice In Wonderland album was vastly approaching its December 8 release.

“Y'all know how this Shyte go....... Snoop is still set for Dec. 8th & best believe "Malice in Wonderland" will be "Doggystyle" all over again.”

Avid followers of the Game shouldn't feel too discouraged however because he still plans to release four mixtapes in the meantime.

Joining him on the quadruple release are the Nu Jersey Devil, DJ Drama, DJ Haze and DJ Kris Stylez.

Look for that in the forthcoming weeks.
