Game has never been one to hide his gripe with Hip-Hop mogul Jay-Z and after recently taking shots at Jay with his diss track "Uncle Otis," radio personality Big Boy questioned the west coast rapper about his long standing beef.

The conversation aired during an episode of "The Next 48 Hours with The Game" and in it Big Boy asked Game to reflect on his early encounter with Jay-Z.

“I met Jay-Z a long time ago in the 40/40 Club and he seemed like a cool dude and I asked him something—‘How do you stay relevant?'—and I ain't really like his answer. So ever since then I just kinda take shots here and shot there,” Game said.

Game had previously revealed this, stating that after growing up on Jay's music he was disappointed to come across an "overly cocky" Hov when they finally met.

Big Boy pressed the issue and finally got him to share what Jay said. Instead of saying it out loud however, Game wrote on a piece of paper the quote that started it all.

“Most of you new rappers won't last long anyway, maybe you should think of another lane."

As previously reported the album had a December, February, June and July release date and is now scheduled to hit stores August 24.

Now however a company has filed a lawsuit saying that the album cannot be released until they are properly compensated for unpaid royalties.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Desperado Entertainment filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles federal court Tuesday alleging that Universal Music Group, Interscope, Aftermath Entertainment and ARY, Inc owe them a portion of the licensing and publishing income from Jayceon “The Game” Taylor's albums.

Desperado Entertainment says they discovered the rapper and have been unlawfully cut out of the development for the forthcoming album.

Additionally the company says they allowed the Universal Music Group labels to “recoup advances solely from record sales and not from publishing earnings or royalties”, royalties Desperado says they were never paid.

The company is seeking an injunction on the album, unspecified damages and $275,000 in advance payment for sales from R.E.D.

As previously reported, The Game stated that his latest mix tape was the ‘first album that has no lyrical disses towards “any one” and fans still “appreciated it.”

With his new found revelation, The Game states that it was because of Pharrell that he is no longer taking shots at veteran emcee Jay Z.

In an interview with New York's Power 105.1's  DJ Envy, The Game discusses why he no longer feels the need to diss Jay Z.

“Pharrell pulled me to the side and told me that he would work with me, but in order for that to happen I couldn't diss Jay[Z],” The Game said. “[He let me know that] Jay has respect for what I do, just like I have respect for what he does, so I was like ‘cool'.”

In addition to discussing the deading of beefs, The Game also revealed how he started working with Dr. Dre again.

“Dre actually approached me,” The Game continued. “He asked me what would it take for me to work with him again and I just told him nothing; I will work with Dre just because he's Dre.”

As previously reported, Game pushed the project back to July 6^th which would have put him in line to compete with Big Boi's Sir Lucious Left foot: The Son of Chico Dusty album.

Now however reps for the rapper are confirming that instead of July, the album will hit shelves in “late summer.”

Game has reportedly pushed the album back to record new music and will reveal a solid release date at a later time.

The album was originally set to drop in December before getting pushed back to February, then June 15^th, then June 29^th before settling on July 6^th.

R.E.D. is executive produced by Dr.Dre and Pharrell and will be released through Aftermath/Star Trak/Interscope Records.

How many push back is this now?  Is this really coming out?

As previously reported R.E.D. was scheduled to drop in December in time for the Christmas holiday but was pushed back to February and then June 15th before settling on a June 29th release date.

That date has been pushed back once again however and R.E.D. won't hit stores until July 6^th.
The new release date puts Game in line to go head to head with Big Boi's Sir Lucious Leftfoot: The Son of Chico Dusty.

The June 15^th release date would have put him up against Drake's Thank Me Later and Young Jeezy's Thug Motivation 103.

In related news Game recently released his Red Room mixtape with help from DJ Skee.

The Game is officially confirming reports that his highly anticipated R.E.D. album is set to hit stores June 15^th.

As previously reported the album has seen several push backs stemming from December 2009 to February 2010.

Now with the final released date in place, the Game is also confirming that two of the biggest names in the industry have added their talents to the project.

Game will officially reunite with the head of Aftermath and his former adviser Dr. Dre on the album while Pharrell will join him on R.E.D. as an executive producer.

Speaking on reuniting with his former mentor Game says he can't even describe his feelings.

“To be working so closely with him again...man, I don't even have words to describe it."

Pharrell also chimed in on the forthcoming Dre and Game reunion, thanking Game for the opportunity to work on an album alongside the good doctor and expressing his excitement over what's to come.

“Game is a good kid...and I'm excited for the world to hear the many facets of his character...what's even crazier is that as a fan, I cannot believe I am actually producing songs on the same album as Dr. Dre.  Humbling, man...I owe Game for that one.  His album is gonna be a problem.”

As previously reported Game was facing a civil action lawsuit filed by basketball coach Shannon Radric who claims the rapper assaulted him and pulled a hand-gun on him on school property.

The Game previously served eight days in jail in connection to the criminal case before refuting claims that he's a “gangster rapper” in the civil lawsuit.

Now however the lawsuit is over and a settlement has been reached.

Lawyers for Game say that Shannon Radric was awarded money in the settlement but an exact amount has not been disclosed.

While Game and his legal team dispute the claims now that a settlement was reached, the court case said that Jayceon Taylor b.k.a Game, was coaching the “Litem- up” basketball team against Shannon Radric's team.

After his team was losing in the double digits, Game reportedly called the man's team “Garbage” and “a bunch of busters” before hitting the man in the face causing him to fall down.

The suit also said that Game then went to get a hand-gun from his vehicle saying, “I'm going to blast this fool!” causing the coach to run inside a school building and hide until he calmed down and left.

In light of The Game still working on his R.E.D. album, he's making an unexpected move in the New Year.

Jayceon Taylor is going  back to his roots and is officially announcing his return to Aftermath Records.

Game was previously associated with the record label founded by Dr. Dre but moved to Geffen Records in 2006 after a reported fallout between himself and the legend.

Obviously completely over the beef and ready to return home, Game made the official announcement through his Twitter page and posted a picture showing himself shirtless wearing four chains with the “A” for Aftermath emblem. Above the picture was a caption that read,

“It's funny how things come full circle.”

No word on whether this means he'll be reconciling with Aftermath associate and another of Dr. Dre's mentees 50 Cent.

Reality TV star Tila Tequila stirred up controversy after professing to the world that rapper Game was the father of her unborn child.
As previously reported Tequila posted Tweets on her Twitter addressing Game as the man who got her pregnant and saying that he would take her shopping for baby clothes.

Now obviously fed up with the controversy Game is responding.

Speaking to TMZ, Game completely denies the allegations and says that he doesn't even know Tequila.

Responding to a tweet Tila reposted on her Twitter page of Game reciting a Tupac line about his unborn child, Game says that he does have a baby on the way but not with the reality star.

“I am not the father…I was actually in the studio thinking about the song Tupac made about his unborn child. My son's mother is pregnant, so I'm going that lane and she took it and ran with it.”

Game then says while he's met her in passing at various events, he doesn't really know her and in fact says that a friend of his could be the father.

“I don't know her…met her in traffic. I might know who the father is…recently she was in the studio, she mess with my boy though…Avante. @Avante Rose. He might be the baby daddy.”

When asked for a final time if there was any way he could have gotten her pregnant Game says,

“Like I said, I wouldn't use 50's stick.”

He then added,

“You know Hunter Hearst Helmsley from the WWF he's also known as the Game maybe she might be talking about him…Triple H.”

Tequila has since responded calling Game a “punk bi*h”, “coward” and “deadbeat dad.”

She also says in 9 months she will take a paternity test to prove it and plans to appear on TMZ Monday to tell her side of the story.
