Sixth grade teacher Tim Olmsted is on paid leave after being accused of racial discrimination towards Black kids in his classroom at Heights Community School. The bigoted teacher allegedly told student Latasha Tolbert that her future included her standing on the corner with a sign begging for money.

Tolbert also stated that he toldstudents,

"He told the whole entire class that it is easier for him to teach rich white folks than poor black people."

Meg Kane, an education attorney representing three of the families involved, said none of the kids have been in any trouble at school.

The kids also told the attorney that all of them had to sit at the back of the class and were called "fat, black and stupid" and told such things as: "You will never amount to anything" and "You only have one parent."

Kane is asking that Olmsted be fired. There's no telling what these comments did to these children's self-esteem.

A dummy with dreadlocks is causing controversy in New York and leaving some residents to shout cries of racism.

NBC New York reports that a scarecrow with dreadlocks was hung from a Brooklyn tree by a noose before it was removed Wednesday.

The scarecrow was described as having reddish-colored feet and a Halloween mask and was hung from a tree in front of a house in the Fort Hamilton section of Brooklyn.

City Councilman Charles Barron was one of the main people vying for the dummy to be taken down.

"This is racist," Barron said. "It's sick, it's not funny, it's not trick, or treat. It's madness."

No charges are expected against the homeowners whose house it was in front of.

Police did not need the homeowners' permission to take it down.

The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee is livid over a racist web ad released by the ultra conservative Turn Right USA PAC.

The ad is directed at Democratic candidate for Congress Janice Hahn and her support of program to pay reformed former gang members in her Los Angeles district to act as “gang intervention specialists.”

In the video, gun-toting black actors declare, “Give me your cash, b*tch, so we can shoot up the streets.” while tipping a scantly dressed woman projected to be Janice Hahn.

Even GOP candidate Craig Huey, has said he wants no part of the ad.

“The Internet video is inappropriate, highly offensive, and has no connection whatsoever to the Huey campaign,” said a spokesman.

Rush Limbaugh has already expressed his feelings about Presidential First Lady Michelle Obama's weight in the past and last week on his radio show a caller identified as Laura from Bremerton, Washington commented on Mrs. Obama's lack of fashion sense.

She likened the First Lady to a bowl of mustard when she wears yellow and called her a tacky dresser.

"She never seems really to be happy, she doesn't wear her clothes with any finesse or flair, she just seems to march around like a lumberjack..." stated Laura.

Rush provokes her opinion and refers to it as beyond anecdotal.

He made sure to keep her on the subject of Michelle, her fashion choices and the colors she chooses.

Rush questions the reason for her praise and he and Laura point out that any criticism of Obama's policies or Michelle's clothing would seem racist.

Rush politically chimes in,

"I'm not going to say what I think about her shape. I'm not really sure what it is...I can't win this, there's no purpose of getting into a detailed analysis of the First Lady's shape."

Not a neon sign showing scantly dressed woman dancing on a pole, but one that says, “No Negros Allowed.”

Mark Prior plans on opening his club, in a building next to the Abbotsford city hall and library but he doesn't plan on letting blacks in.

“I'm going to stick to my guns because I think I have the right as a business owner to reject service to anyone. It's not all the black people there are just a few bad ones,” says Prior.

Prior posted the sign after he says he had some problems with black people in the past and needed to make a policy against them.

Under federal and state law, it is illegal for a businesses open to the public to deny patrons based on race. That wont stop Prior from trying.

“If I've got a problem with you it's going to be on the front of my store,” says Prior.

He has since moved the sign inside do to the number of complaints. But if he keeps true to his racist mandate, according Dr. Selika Ducksworth-Lawton, an African American historian at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, the second he opens his business, he'll be in violation of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.

Olbermann who's no stranger to Rush's ridiculous antics, scolded the radio show host again, naming him the “Worst Person in The World” as presented on his "Countdown With Keith Olbermann."

This time Limbaugh topped his list for comments he made on his show Tuesday, claiming that both Oprah Winfrey and President Obama are only successful because of their race.

According to Rush, Oprah enjoys her role as the media mogul she is today because America wouldn't doesn't want to appear “racist” and that if Obama weren't Black, he'd be a tour guide in Honolulu.

“[Obama] wouldn't have been voted president if he weren't black. Somebody asked me over the weekend why does somebody earn a lot of money have a lot of money, because she's black. It was Oprah. No, it can't be. Yes, it is. There's a lot of guilt out there to show we're not racists, we'll make this person wealthy and big and famous and so forth.... If Obama weren't black he'd be a tour guide in Honolulu or he'd be teaching Saul Alinsky constitutional law or lecturing on it in Chicago.”

Putting Limbaugh on the top of his “Worst People In The World” list, Olbermann denounced him saying,

“Ahhh there it is. The United States has been tilted in favor of Black people. We've made it so easy for human beings inferior to the great Rush Limbaugh, the fired by ESPN one month into his dream job, Rush Limbaugh. Inferior creatures like Obama and Oprah Winfrey have been made to be big and famous…they don't have real talent, they haven't earned it….Oprah please crush this schmuck!...Rush Limbaugh, overt racist, the worst person in the world.”

The Gender Recovery Center at the Nairobi Women's Hospital treated 2,357 victims of rape last year. Of the 1,118 adults who were victims of the crime, 223 women over the age of 60.

To combat the violence, an elderly Kenyan woman has decided to teach her peers techniques, to demonstrate how to combat a spate of rape attacks targeting elderly women in the slums.

A two-finger poke to the eyes, a punch to the solar plexus, a kick to the groin, then turn and run, the instructor commands.

“When we hit the pad with an open palm we are training to target the nose, the solar plexus or the groin to hurt an attacker so that it can give you a chance to escape. Shouting ‘no' repetitively is meant to draw the attention of people so that they can assist you,” Wangui states, who has been training for almost two years.

Ten elderly women have been raped and killed in the last two years in Korogocho and one hospital in Nairobi reports treating more than 437 rape victims older than 60 last year.  Many other rapes are believed to have taken place but not reported.

“One of the causes of elderly rape is a belief by criminals that intercourse with elderly women can cure them of AIDS. Others think that raping an elderly woman will cleanse their sins after committing crimes, Kariuki said. “Although there are a slew of victims, no suspects have been arrested.

Dr. Jake Sinclair, a founding member of Ujamaa, a non-governmental organization that helps rape victims and holds the self-defense classes, said many class members are grandmothers motivated by the fact that they are raising their children's children.

“If they lose that they have nothing,” Sinclair said. “In most cases the mothers and the fathers have died of HIV and if the grandmother cannot support them or protect them, the kids will end up on the streets or the Kenya youth authority, which is like prison. If they end up on the streets it is prostitution or thuggery.”

Elizabeth Olwenya is a grandmother to four children under the age of 5 who were orphaned after two of Olwenya's daughters died of AIDS. The 55-year-old Olwenya was one of the first to take the self-defense classes three years ago, and said the skills she learned help protect her grandchildren.

“The life here is not good,” Olwenya states.   “People here can rape you and even your child.”

Some believe that it is authorities' lack of concern that contributes to this type of behavior.

“Many of the reporting desks at police stations are manned by men who see rape as a crime of pleasure rather than seeing it as a crime that violates women's dignity,” Haki Focus official Harun Ndubi said.

80-year-old Julia Karinge, said she has been raped twice and feels that no matter the measures, the vicious attacks will continue.

“I did not resist either time because I did not want to die. They killed a friend of mine and dumped her body outside my house,” said Karinge, who is not taking the defense classes.

No arrests were made, though she reported the crime to police and could identify her attacker.

A white Philadelphia police officer reported, back in April, that he was shot while in pursuit of two Black men.

According to the officer, he was confronted by then men with one of the suspects pointing a gun at his head which was then slapped, but resulted in him being struck in the shoulder.

There are now statements saying that the officer lied and actually just shot himself.  According to reports the officer, 21 year veteran Robert Ralston, was displeased with the fact that he would be transferred to another police district, which was reported to be predominantly Black.

Negotiating a deal, Ralston will avoid criminal charges due to the fact that he revealed the details of what really happened, but Police Commissioner Charles Ramsey will fire the officer, after a 30 day notice, and he will also no longer get his pension.

Feeling as though his actions are a disgrace to the police department, Ramsey adds that his badge will never be used again.

"The fact that he stated that two African-Americans were involved in this, again, just I think inflames tensions in our community, something that we certainly do not need," Ramsey said. "He was asked specifically why he did that. He said he did it because the 19th District is a predominantly an African-American district, and that's why he said it was two African-Americans. Fortunately, none of our officers stopped anyone or arrested anyone, I should say, as a result of this, but it could have led to a tragedy."

Vincent McGee of Rankin County, Mississippi is in police custody for the death of lawyer Richard Barrett.

Police say McGee who previously did yard work for the well known supremacist and lived nearby, murdered him but a motive is still unknown.

Barrett, a Vietnam War veteran, traveled the country sharing his anti-Black and anti-immigration ideas and cofounded the Nationalist Movement, a white supremacist organization.

The war vet was also responsible for organizing a protest of Martin Luther King day in Jena, Louisiana where the infamous Jena 6 case took place.
Vincent McGee is facing charges of murder and arson.

Additional charges are expected to be filed against him.
