Soulja Boy has been sentenced to probation in connection with his October 2009 arrest in Henry County, Georgia.

As previously reported Soulja Boy, real name DeAndre Way, spent a day in jail after police arrested him at a video shoot after receiving complaints about noise.

When police arrived on the scene he and an estimated 40 other people scattered before he was caught and charged with obstruction of justice.

Now four months later he's appeared in a federal court room to receive his fate, 12 months probation and a minor $1,000 fine.

Although on probation Soulja Boy is expected to continue the production of his new book, “Teenage Millionaire” set to release this spring.

Although recently pledging not to drop any more mixtapes, Chamillionaire is back on the scene with a new installment in his online discography.

His new 18 track mixtape Major Pain was released today and details the “Mixtape Messiah's” brief intermission before the release of his recently pushed back album, Venom.

According to Chamillionaire the politics of his major label deal have affected his music and stop him from releasing as much material as he'd like.

He describes the situation to fans in a statement saying,

“I felt it was time to take it back to the original grind that made these major companies pay attention in the first place….but because I am signed to a major recording label, there are still a lot of things that I would like to be able to dothat I'm not really allowed to do.

Politics in this business often stand between a creative mind and the grind but I'm gonna try my best to feed my fans without getting into too much trouble."

Along with the release of Major Pain, Chamillionaire is preparing to go on tour with fellow Texas Hip-Hop representative Paul Wall.

Cham and Paul will be joined by Trae Tha Truth, Dorrough and Chalie Boy March 17th in Austin, Texas for the South By Southwest concert in Austin on March 17th.

They'll then hit the road for stops in L.A., Las Vegas and Phoenix.

Details on Major Pain and his tour are available at Chamillionaire.com

The 52nd annual Grammy Awards took place last night highlighting the best in musical entertainment for the year.

One thing you didn't see “highlighted” however were winners from last night's Rap categories.

In typical Grammy fashion Hip-Hop was snubbed and several of the categories were not aired on television.

In case you didn't know “Best Rap Performance" by a Duo or Group” was taken home by Eminem, Dr. Dre and 50 Cent for “Crack A Bottle” while Em snagged another Grammy for “Best Rap Album” with Relapse.

Drake lost in both categories he was nominated in, “Best Rap Solo Performance” and “Best Rap Song” for “Best I Ever Had.”

Both Grammy's were nabbed by Jay-Z who won for “D.O.A.” and “Run This Town.”

Mrs. Shawn Carter broke a record for most Grammy's won by a woman in one night with her six trophies including “Best Female Pop Vocal Performance“for “Halo” when she thanked and acknowledged her husband Jay-Z and “Song of The Year” for “Single Ladies” accepted by The Dream and Trickey Stewart.

The Grammy's ended on a high note with Emimen and Lil Wayne performing their new single “Drop The World” before bringing out Drake and Travis Barker for the finale with “Forever.”

Whether banned or just not particularly interested, Kanye was of course not there. Conflicting reports say that Ye was in the studio while others say he was vacationing in Hawaii. Either way let's hope Ye makes his return to the Grammy's next year because what's an awards show without Yeezy?

Other highlights included a high energy performance from Jamie Foxx and T Pain of “Blame It” complete with back-up dancing from Jamie Foxx's sister as well as the 3-D tribute to Michael Jackson featuring Usher, Jennifer Hudson, Carrie Underwood, Celine Dion and Smokey Robinson.

The upset of the night by far was when Ye's old pal country singer Taylor Swift nabbed the “Album of the Year” award beating out Beyonce, Lady Gaga, The Dave Matthews Band and the Black Eyed Peas.

HUH???

Nonetheless here's a list of some of last night's winners in R&B and Hip-Hop:

Best Urban/Alternative Performance: India.Arie and Dobet Gnahore - "Pearls"

Song of the Year: Beyonce - "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)"

Best R&B Performance By a Duo/Group With Vocals: Jamie Foxx and T-Pain - "Blame It"

Best Traditional R&B Vocal Performance: "At Last" - Beyonce

Best R&B Song: Beyonce - "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)"

Best R&B Album: Maxwell - BLACKsummer'snight - Maxwell

Best Contemporary R&B Album: Beyonce - I Am...Sasha Fierce

Best Female R&B Vocal Performance: Beyonce - "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)"

Best Male R&B Vocal Performance: Maxwell - "Pretty Wings

A visit to a local McDonald's ended in embarrassment and legal action for four Salt Lake City teens.

18-year-old Spenser Dauwalder and his 17-year-old friends were issued citations by the city of American Bend, Utah after employees at a local McDonald's complained of the teens disorderly conduct, which consisted of them rapping their order while using the drive-thru.

The idiotic youngsters were paying back-handed homage to a popular You Tube video.

A female employee at the restaurant contacted local authorities after she felt that her safety was put “at risk” due to the youths activities in the drive-thru.
