Juvenile teams up with Mannie Fresh for the first time in years to produce "Power," a new cut featuring Rick Ross that is set to grace Juvie's upcoming album, Rejuvenation.

Looks like the OMCMB (Old Money Cash Money Brothers) are on the rise again.

Juve collaborated with Rick Ross for the lead-off single "Power" which will be dropping next week.

It looks like Lil Wayne's former rhyme partner and fellow Hot Boy$ member Turk will finally be coming home in the next few months if not sooner.

While not disclosing his official release date, Turk checked in with DJ Smallz and discussed everything  from his first meal once he is released, to a Hot Boy reunion, including a tour and new album.

Turk has been locked up for 7 1/2 years now (Damn has it been that long).

In 2006,  he was sentenced to 12 years in prison after entering a "best interest" plea for his role in the 2004 shooting of a S.W.A.T. team deputy.

Turk was accused of firing shots from a bedroom closet during a drug raid. The shots fired from inside the closet hit S.W.A.T. team member Chris Harris four times.

Turk also seems to have not lost a beat on the mic  as he spits new fire over Wayne's "6'7" beat.

TMZ has reported that the former Hot Boys member Juvenille was arrested for marijuana possession charge, in addition to driving with a suspended license. T

he Sterlington PD say the rapper was later released on a $750 bond.

This isn't the first time the New Orleans rapper has been in the headlines over a weed charge.

He faced a similar arrest in late 2010 where he was put on 6 months probation.

As previously reported, Juve was said to be working on his next album, his first single is supposedly including features from his former Cash Money family.

Juvenile has pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor marijuana possession charge in Louisiana.

The St. Bernard Parish sheriff's office says the 34-year-old, whose real name is Terius Gray, entered the plea Thursday.

As previously reported, Juvenile and his producer Leroy Edwards were arrested on February 25 for possession of marijuana.

According to reports, police responded to a call from a neighbor who reported that they smelled marijuana smoke coming from the rappers home.

When police arrived at the house, according to reports, they were not only greeted by Juve's producer who had a small amount of marijuana “on his person,” but a published report police states that “the presence of marijuana was strong” enough that it gave “probable cause” to search the rapper's home.

Upon their search, police discovered a small amount of marijuana in a kitchen drawer, which Juvenile stated belonged to him.

Juvenile and Edwards were booked with misdemeanor possession of marijuana and both  posted bond.

Juve's  received a suspended sentence of three months in jail and must serve six months probation and pay a $250 fine and court costs.

In regards to the killings by the police officers, Juve states that he “wasn't surprised” because the senseless acts of violence by police officers is something that has plagued the New Orleans' hoods for years.

“I really am not shocked that they got caught,” Juvenile said. “We have been telling people this for years. I am more surprised that people were shocked more than anything because if they had been listening to us back then the people may still be alive today.”

In regards to the state of his hometown, Juve states that one solution to the problem would be to allow the victims of Hurricane Katrina to receive priority job placement in their hometown to create a sense of stability and security.

“No offense to anyone out there, but I feel like the victims of the hurricane need to be the first ones who are considered for jobs, especially in New Orleans.” Juvenile said. “Pretty much after every crisis that has hit Louisiana, they should really be the first to get jobs because they were literally left with nothing and many of them still haven't recovered almost four years later. Right now the mind state is either you have a job or you're selling drugs and if you selling drugs then there will be violence.”

In response to the oil spill crisis Juvenile states:

“That oil spill just killed our biggest market, because seafood is our biggest market so the oil spill just put even more people without a job. Basically with one leak the oil spill killed New Orleans, so in my opinion the smartest thing for anyone to do would be to move away, honestly that is what I am looking to do because there will only be so long before the oil starts to affect our water and what can we do then..die and that's what will happen if we don't leave.”

On a lighter note, Juvenile has decided to bless fans with a personal listening session via Ustream to hear tracks off of his upcoming album, Beast Mode, which is scheduled to be released on July 6^th.

Juvenile, who is set to perform with Wacko and Skip, states that the Southern Hip-Hop Honors is great in theory, but they overlook a lot of people who were influential in helping the whole southern movement explode on the mainstream.

“At first I was cool with it,” Juvenile said. “But when I realized that Cash Money wasn't being honored, it really threw me off. How can you honor the South without Cash Money? I mean, we really blew the South up, if it wasn't for Cash Money, Luke, J. Prince, Scarface and everyone else that laid the foundation there would be no South.”

When asked about his performance, Juve states that it was to pay tribute to Rap-A-Lot who signed the UTP trio.

“Nolia Clap was released through Rap-A-Lot, so it was only right that we went up there to perform to pay tribute to [J] Prince.”

Overall, Juvenile states that he is not surprised with how VH1's Hip-Hop Honors turned out as according to Juvenile it was created by “people who don't understand” the music.

“I came to the conclusion that I am not mad at VH1, they don't play my records or the records of the artists they are honoring, so what do people expect.”

The 7^th Annual Hip-Hop Honors has garnered a lot of controversy surrounding the selected artists paid tribute to and the overall selection process that VH1 used to come to their decision.

Many in Southern Hip-Hop feel it's a way to overlook the contributions that the south has made to Hip-Hop, but VH1 states otherwise.

"2010 VH1 Hip-Hop Honors: The Dirty South" is the first time that the show has honored a particular geographic region for its Hip-Hop celebration," said Lee Rolontz, Executive Vice President, Original Music Production and Development, VH1 .

“The Southern style of music and its artists, have been significant on the NYC-born genre and helped to expand its appeal worldwide.  In order to continue our efforts to honor the best in Hip-Hop, it is so important that we recognize the South and the tremendous impact that it has had on Hip-Hop music.

The southern experience is one that is unique to America and while filled with its own testimony of trials and triumphs, Hip-Hop has served as a universal medium where the journey is shared.  Some of the most popular current Hip-Hop artists are from The South.

Our honorees opened the door for the southern story to be told, and it is one that continues to resonate with all people all over the world."

Previous Hip-Hop Honored luminaries who were credited for breaking new ground and propelling Hip-Hop into the true cultural phenomenon that it has become have included Def Jam Records, NWA, Ice-T, Public Enemy, LL Cool J, Big Daddy Kane, Rakim, Wu-Tang Clan, The Beastie Boys and Africa Babattaaa.

VH1 Hip-Hop Honors will air tonight (June 7) at 9p.  This year's honorees will be The 2 Live Crew, J. Prince, Jermaine Dupri, Luther “Luke” Campbell, Master P, Organized Noize and Timbaland.

Juvenile, who dropped his first album 15 years ago, continues to stay relevant after so many years and hopes to reach #1 on the billboard charts since his last number 1 album “Reality Check.”

Juvenile gave a brief statement on the concept and what we can look forward to with the album,
“The main reason for putting out this record in the summer is that it's a summer album.  I made this album for my fans, especially for my female fans out there.”

“Beast Mode” is the follow up to Juvenile's last album, “Cocky and Confident” which was released last year on UTP/Atlantic/E1 Music.
