As previously reported, Wayne was scheduled to be sent home from prison today after serving an eight month sentence for weapons possession.

According to Weezy's lawyer James Tilson, the rapper was then scheduled to go to Arizona within 72 of his release and fill out documentation to start his 36-month probation term for a separate drug paraphernalia case.
Those plans are on hold now that Rikers Island prison guards confirm that Wayne is still incarcerated.

Officer Carl Carabello told MTV news early Thursday that Weezy won't be free till Friday and his prison time was miscalculated.

“His time was miscalculated. He owed, he owes one day of ‘good time,' so it's gonna be another night.

Carabello added that “good time” is reduced when an inmate runs into trouble behind bars.

“If you get an infraction in jail, they'll take away ‘good time' — time that you accumulated for good behavior.”

Lil Wayne's additional time behind bars may be due to an incident when he was found with music contraband.

By now I'm guessing that you all have heard about my recent relocation to the bing, which is punitive segregation. Basically, no T.V., no radio, no snacks/junkfood, and one phone call a week. This punishment has been handed to me for my earlier MP3 incident. I admit, I fu#ked up and now I must deal with the consequences. As I write this, I only have 25 days left, and it'll be even less than that when you read this. So honestly, I'm fine.

Obviously, this gives me a lot of time to myself and a lot of alone time with my thoughts, which can be creatively dangerous. I do miss being able to hear from my family everyday but once a week will have to suffice. To them, I apologize. I'm still able to receive mail so reading and responding is still a huge part of my day. I'd like to thank everyone that sent me B-Day cards and wishes… that was terrific. You all are wonderful, simply wonderful.

Well anyways, I just wanted you all to know that I'm good and I'll be good! But at the end of the day, I did it all for music!!! By the way, thanx for downloading the I Am Not A Human Being album. As previously reported, the Young Money head will be in solitary confinement for the rest of his stay behind bars and last week asked fans to stop sending him mail because they were becoming a fire hazard.

Weezy is scheduled to be released November 4.

As previously reported, the Young Money head was caught with an mp3 charger and headphones in May, a violation of Rikers Island rules.

Now in the final month before his release Wayne is receiving his punishment and could spend 23 out of the 24 hours in a day, alone.
According to The New York Daily News, he will be confined to a “punitive segregation” cell known as “The Bing” leading up to his release on November 4.

A corrections department source tells them,

"He's not in an area where he is mingling with other inmates - ever."

The NYDN reports that priority for punitive-segregation cells is given to inmates who commit violent infractions, so Rikers officials shipped Weezy off to The Bing when an opening became available.

Correction Department spokesman Stephen Morello confirmed that Weezy's been transfered to punitive segregation  and will now be limited to only one phone call a week.

As previously reported, a female prison guard was reprimanded for “spending additional time” with the rapper while another was fired from the correctional facility to trying to steal a glance his way.

Now local New York newspaper, The Village Voice, reports that the rapper is receiving VIP style treatment in the form of outside food and extended visitation time.

According to the paper, when Wayne's visitors arrive at Rikers, they are picked up in a separate car by an official who drives them to the Eric M. Taylor Center where they are allowed to stay for longer than the hour permitted by policy.

Additionally Wayne has been reportedly tipped off by guards about upcoming searches for contraband and receives food from the Jackson Hole restaurant and a nearby pizzeria.

The Village Voice also reports that a prison guard barricaded herself inside a locker room last week and demanded to see the rapper.

As previously reported, Wayne was busted for music contraband after being found with an i-Pod in May.

As previously reported, Wayne was sentenced to Rikers Island Prison on March 8, 2010 after being charged with felony weapons possession and is expected to be released in November.

As previously reported, a Rikers Island guard filed a lawsuit against the institution in April after she was fired for allegedly trying to sneak a peek at the rapper while he was in holding.

Now a second official is being reprimanded, this time for “spending extra time with the star.”

The New York Post reports that Capt. Latanya Brown was questioned by the Corrections Department after officials believe she allowed Wayne to stay in his cell while other inmates were made to leave their bunks and report to the recreational area.

Rikers says they have a zero tolerance policy for officers who give preferential treatment but famously had a guard resign after a favoritism scandal linked to rapper Foxy Brown.

In 2006, guards reportedly allowed Foxy to wear makeup, watch television, and accept outside food and clothing.

The Young Money head has consistently released letters to his fans including one where he praised Nicki Minaj and Drake for winning BET awards and one where he weighed in on Lebron James' decision to join the Miami Heat.

Now he's back with a new memo where gives fans an update on his status and sends out some very special shout outs.

Released to his WeezyThanxYou.com blog and titled “Just Another Day” Weezy  details his day-to-day life from "kicking a** in Uno” to working out.

According to Wayne although he's working on his fitness behind bars “don't expect him to look like Hercules."

As previously reported Lil Wayne pleaded guilty earlier this month to one count of possession of a dangerous drug stemming from a 2008 incident in Yuma, Arizona where authorities found cocaine, ecstasy and a loaded handgun on his tour bus.

Now after deliberation a judge granted him three years probation which he will begin immediately after he's released from prison in November.

Lil Wayne's guilty plea was part of a plea deal with prosecutors that dropped additional charges of possession of a narcotic drug for sale, misconduct involving weapons and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Wayne's Arizona attorney James Tilson says he‘s pleased with the verdict and told Reuters,

“We're quite glad that we were able to wrap everything up. It's a favorable plea agreement that will allow Mr. Carter to pursue his career."

The third letter from Wayne since his March 8^th incarceration was released today and shows the rapper giving props to Drake and Nicki Minaj for taking home BET awards before thanking several fans that reached out to him in jail.

In the letter titled "I Love You All" Weezy writes,

“I hope everyone's summer has been going well doing whatever it is you like to do. On my end, I'm alive, breathing and blessed…

You already know how I'm passing the time – reading and working out.  I know I say it every letter, but thank you from the bottom of my heart for the pictures, rocking free weezy tees, and continuous letters. They mean the world. I promise to continue to update as much as I can and answer as many questions as I can from you guys.

Shout out to my YM family for making me proud last night.

Before ending the letter he personally thanks several fans including Canadian blogger Karla Moy a.k.a HustleGRL who he says has been “holding down Drizzy for him” and several fans that sent him letters of encouragement.

24-year-old Dario Ormejuste is in police custody for the death of his brother Guerby Ormejuste and father Bob Ormejuste.

Police say Dario shot and killed his brother a Rikers Island corrections officer, with his weapon before turning it on his 65-year-old father.

In addition to his sibling and father, the man's mother Rose Ormejuste is still missing and police believe her dissaperarnce is tied to the case.

Authorities are looking for her and a gray 1998 Lexus ES 300 license plate CEF8130.

Dario has been charged with two counts of murder and told reporters as he was being taken into court for arraignment,

“I didn't do it.”
