If you didn't get an invite to Sean "Diddy" Comb's Grammy after-party, it's probably for the best. TMZ reports that tickets for the post-Grammy affair at the Playboy Mansion could cost up to $50,000 each.

However, the steep price is for a good cause as Diddy will be donating the proceeds from the luxurious party to the Angelwish Foundation, which benefits children with HIV/AIDS.

The cheapest tickets to the black tie event start at $1,500 and go from $15,000 to $25,000 depending on the service an attendee requires. $50,000 buys the Monster Cabana package, which includes buffet dinner, open bar, free bottle service and two cabanas for 20 VIP guests.

The 2012 Grammy's will be held on February 12 in Los Angeles and will be hosted by LL Cool J. Kanye West leads all artists with seven nominations.

French Montana raised plenty of eyebrows when he signed to Bad Boy Records. But according to the self-proclaimed Talk of New York, rolling with Bad Boy was a no brainer despite the label's well documented track record of disgruntled artists. Speaking to Real Talk NY, the Bronx rapper said he had his bases covered when it came to negotiating his contract.

“I find it kind of weird; how can somebody jerk you and they give you the paperwork for your lawyer to see,” said French. “It's not like they tricking you. It's not like them words get up in the middle of the night and change onthe contract. You just gotta get the best lawyers. Of course Puff going to have the best lawyers. So you need to get the best lawyers and make sure it works for you.”

Apparently, Fench's lawyers finagled new ground when it comes to artists on the Bad Boy Records roster.

“I think I'm the first person, and I ain't tell this to nobody, only y'all, I'm the first person in the whole history of Bad Boy not to sign my publishing to Bad Boy or Puff," he revealed. "Ya know, everything I asked for Puff kept his word.”

We're going to guess French, who Bad Boy debut Pardon My French is due later this year, didn't peruse those contracts over e-mail.

Shyne And Diddy Patch Up Old Differences Via Phone Call, Meeting In Paris

Former Bad Boy Records rapper Shyne and the label's top man Sean “Diddy” Combs have been at odds with one another ever since the gruff-voiced rapper faced trial for a 1999 shooting inside Club New York, for which he was eventually convicted of assault and gun possession. After serving nearly nine years in prison, and also levying harsh criticism towards his former boss, it appears that Shyne and Diddy have found a way to reconcile their differences.

During a Skype video call from Paris, the former Jamal Barrow—now legally named Moses Levi—spoke with MTV News about a brief conversation he held with Diddy. While Shyne wasn't particularly forthcoming about the nature of the conversation, he did share that there will be more talks in the future.

“As far as Puff is concerned, that's been a long time coming,” Shyne, who had harsh words for Combs shortly after his release from prison, said. "He had reached out to me twice while I was in the pen, but I just wasn't ready for it.”

Now a practicing Orthodox Jew, Levi still possesses the gritty, street-tinged lingo befitting of a man of his background but his appearance was subdued and a vast leap from his former streetwear. Adorned in all white with a Star of David crest on the lapel of his coat, Shyne revealed that the impetus behind why he sought out Diddy to effectively end their beef was because of a dream about mutual friend and bodyguard Anthony “Wolf” Jones.

“Our relationship wasn't just business; it wasn't me just being a rapper on Bad Boy,” Shyne shared. “We had a solid relationship, we had a brotherhood, me, him and Wolf, and I just felt the need to just reach out, because again, he just kept it tall no matter what I said.”

Shyne said that he and Diddy agreed to meet in Paris in a couple of weeks to talk face to face.

Will this mean a musical reconciliation for Shyne and Bad Boy as well?

Sean "Diddy" Combs Says Bad Boy Records Will Not Be Disrespected

When Sean “Diddy” Combs talks, people still listen. The Hip-Hop mogul spoke with DJ Whoo Kid and spent a significant portion of the interview dispelling notions that his Bad Boy Records isn't the best label for artist to align with.

“Over the last couple of years there's been a strong propaganda movement that has been brewing in the negative sense against Bad Boy,” Diddy told Whoo Kid. “Against what it is to sign to the Bad Boy label; is it a detriment to your career.”

Diddy shared his theory on the root of the “propaganda.”

“Just hate,” said Diddy. “Just regular hate and also a lot of people not understanding how this industry works. This is a hard industry, this is not for kids, this is not for the weak. This is not a PG-rated industry. If you are weak you'll get eaten alive in this industry. This industry has a life expectancy of like two years.”

It is true many artists who began their careers on Bad Boy are no longer affiliated with the label. Just a handful include Black Rob, Loon, Shyne and the LOX (Styles P, Jadakiss, Sheek Louch). All left via less than ideal circumstances, but according to the Diddy, the frequency of artists moving on from Bad Boy is no different than at any other label.

“It started a couple of years ago, ‘Ok what happened with this artist, why isn't this artist still on the label, why isn't that artist on the label,' so people started to try give us a bad rap and spread that propaganda with the new generation,” Diddy said. “Honestly, nobody that was on Def Jam still on Def Jam, nobody that was on Rocafella still on Rocafella. There's not even still a Rocafella…Ruff Ryders. We the last crew standing. I'm not saying that with any disrespect to anybody's name I just said, I'm just stating a fact. We're here for a reason.”

Bad Boy is indeed still in business, recently signing French Montana, whose “Shot Caller” single also reportedly had G.O.O.D. Music and Maybach Music Group seeking his rap services. It seems like inking the Bronx repping rapper to a deal, as well as the currently bubbling Red Café, has boosted Diddy's eternally competitive juices.

“Anybody coming after us is mimicking what we've done,” Diddy said. “And that's good. Just like we mimicked what Motown and what Def Jam did. But we gonna give that respect. We not going to go and disrespect Motown and Def Jam. And we at Bad Boy, since we're still here, we're not going to be disrespected, and we not gonna not be competitive. When it comes to anything that's moving that hot out there in 2012 and it fits our DNA of flyness, we want to be in business with it.”

The veteran record executive noted that he finds inspiration in newer labels like Young Money, G.O.O.D. Music and all his “friends and competitors.” Diddy also started puffing his chest out, no pun intended, about Bad Boy's accomplishments in Hip-Hop.

“We the leaders,” said Diddy. “We was the first on Twitter, we was the first on Facebook. We was the first in St. Tropez, south of France, Ibiza, St. Barts. We was the first making dance music. The first making progressive music. We was the first with the bad b*tches and the fly cars and jewelry. We was the first, and there ain't nothing wrong with that.”

Of course, he didn't want to stunt for the sake of just stunting.

“If anything I want people to be inspired by my hard work,” he said. “Be inspired that if I can do it, you can do it.”

Diddy Sued Over Justin's Shooting

A man that was shot at Justin's is suing Sean "Diddy" Combs, owner of the Atlanta restaurant.

Leroy “Tony” Austin attended an event at Justin's back in November of 2010, he was reportedly sitting in the car with a man named Lawrence Jackson when a gunman opened fire on their vehicle.

They were both rushed to the hospital and treated for gunshot wounds.

Austin, who has worked in the music business for years at Def Jam and as co-president of Russell Simmons Music Group named Combs in a lawsuit over the shooting.

The suit claims that the operators of the restaurant knew about the “dangerous and hazardous conditions” and that Diddy failed to maintain a safe environment around Justin's.

If there was ever a hip-hop CEO that thought etiquette was important for his employees and the crew he hangs with, Sean "Diddy" Combs fits the bill.

Combs hired Dawn Bryan, an 'international protocol expert' and author of a book called The Art and Etiquette of Gift Giving, to give lessons on holding chopsticks, how to give out business cards in Japan, how to hold a wine glass and how to eat caviar.

The New York Post reports that a Bad Boy rep said the lessons were part of a series of training sessions for employees at the company's Midtown offices that are "a protocol for new hires."

New York City officials are investigating a number of residents including Sean “Diddy” Combs after they say they collectively owe the city an estimated $1.9 billion.

Diddy's flagship company, Bad Boy Entertainment, is facing legal action for illegally plastering posters around the city leaving them with a $996,000 bill that has reportedly yet to be paid.

According to the New York Daily News, Finance Commissioner David Frankel is fed up with Diddy and the several other people that account for the city's billion dollar debt.

He tells the NYDN,

"We are going to find these people. We're going to turn them upside down by their ankles and we're going to shake them until the money comes out of their pockets."

A spokesman for Bad Boy has since described the bill as a "bureaucratic error", and tells the NYDN that it was “paid by a partner company three years ago but the city hasn't updated the record.”

A city spokesman said lawyers are reviewing the issue.

Doug E. Fresh and Remy Ma's defense lawyer are also being investigated for their unpaid bills.

Jay-Z and Eminem perform atop Rooftop in New York.

For the fans who thought that the epic concert featuring Jay Z and Eminem was cancelled, they were wrong.

The intimate concert was originally scheduled to be held in New York City's Theatre District of Times Square until the Mayor's Office of Film, Theatre and Broadcasting denied Jay-Z and CBS a permit to hold the show on the Ed Sullivan Theater's marquee -- where it would have attracted a crowd of thousands -- after word leaked out.

So that the show could go on, Em and Jay moved the concert to the rooftop of Ed Sullivan Theatre, where 100 lucky fans got an up close and personal show.

Although this is the first concert that the two have performed, it will definitely not be the last.

The two emcees are scheduled to shut down New York's Yankee Stadium on September 13th and for Eminem's hometown of Detroit on September 2nd.
