Hynief, who is a member of Juelz' Skull Gang group, was reportedly arrested on drug charges after a search of Juelz' recording studio in Bergenfield, New Jersey.

Bergen County Prosecutor's Office spokesperson Maureen Parenta said in a statement:

"Two fully loaded 9mm caliber handguns were found in the recording studio along with several boxes of ammunition.  Additionally, seventeen small clear zip-lock bags each containing a greenish brown vegetation, consistent with the appearance of Marijuana, and drug paraphernalia were seized."

Apparently, the raid was executed following a ten-month-long investigation, beginning when Hynief allegedly sold marijuana to an undercover cop on two occasions last summer, in June and July.

Hynief was held on $50,000 bail, but Juelz later tweeted that the rapper was free.

Releasing “Back To The Crib” featuring Chris Brown, “Mixin Up The Medicine” with Yelawolf and the recent track “Home Run” featuring Lil Wayne have all been steps to take as the rapper is gearing up for the release of his mixtape The Reagan Era, which is set to drop now on Valentine's Day.

Although originally scheduled to drop back on New Year's Day, let's hope that this new release date will stick better and actually find the tape dropping as planned.

While talking with DJ Kay Slay during Best of Both Offices, Santana spoke on his particular hustle and finding the way to build momentum by his own means.

“Like sometimes, the label thinks the artists gotta do everything so you know like I say, I come from that groundwork, doing the mixtapes, getting our exposure and the Internet wasn't even half as big as it is today to where I can do the free promotion, videos.

“So now it's even funnier for me to lay the groundwork because you'll be in the studio, freestyles, shoot videos, put em out and the whole world sees them the next day so I'm in six gears, I tell n*ggas. I'm only in second -- I'm just gearing up to get people used to seeing Juelz Santana just in case they forgot.”

The recent release of “Home Run”, which also has a visual waiting to be dropped, marked the second stage of what Juelz plans to bring as he continues his return.

“I just switched over to second, the release of the Wayne song and my mixtape will be out the 14th of February, Valentine's Day. I'm giving y'all that because I love y'all so much. All free. It's all about getting them to come back used to me, I got a plan."

Also, expect to see the leader of the Skull Gang teaming up with a member of G Unit as Lloyd Banks has stated that his first single off his upcoming third album will feature Santana.  The track is reported to be titled “Beamer, Benz or Bentley”.

“Everything I'm putting out now is just start up kit.  I'm in first gear switching over.  I'm just building up energy, building up momentum.  Getting the people warmed up for this nonsense I'm bout to cause on everybody.”

Back in 2005, Juelz Santana showed Hip Hop What the Game's Been Missin! Since then, Santana has been remotely quiet on the solo tip.

Outside of working with Jim Jones, dropping guest verses for other rappers and promoting his Skull Gang movement, the rapper hasn't been able to drop his own material for the streets to feed from.

After dropping “Mixing Up The Medicine” and "Back to the Crib"  the proclamation was made that he was making his return and The Reagan Era mixtape is sure to put a stamp on that claim.

Reported to drop on January 1, what better way to bring in 2010 than with a new tape from The Splash King.

Everything is simply a stepping stone to the bigger picture, his third official album Born to Lose, Built to Win.

During an interview with Jesse Maguire, Santana spoke on the upcoming release and the overload of music he generated that couldn't fit on an album alone.

“I say that this mixtape is gonna be more like an album because despite a lot of the freestyles that I always do over other people's beats, I have so much music that I won't be able to even put on my album [and] I just need the people to get it.”

The rapper was also able to speak on the collaboration with Lil Wayne for “Home Run” which is expected to drop with a music video at any time.

Only Juelz can state it best as it relates to what's about to come to Hip Hop.
