An Ohio judge said that he’s found probable cause to proceed with charging Cleveland police officer Timothy Loehmann with a variety murder charges related to the shooting death of 12-year-old Tamir Rice. Loehmann could potentially face murder, manslaughter, reckless homicide and negligent homicide charges.

Michael Brelo, the Cleveland cop that climbed onto a hood of a car involved in a chase and fired shots into the windshield killing its unarmed occupants, has been acquitted of manslaughter charges. Timothy Russell and Malissa Williams were shot and killed in November of 2012, with authorities unloading 137 bullets into the vehicle.

Tamir Rice’s mother has been forced to move into a homeless shelter and is unable to bury her son until the investigation into his death is complete. Rice’s family filed a civil lawsuit against the city of Cleveland, that is being held up over the police investigation into the boy’s death.
