TECH N9NE's been keeping busy on the road with the lyrical all-star team of Slaughterhouse and Glasses Malone. Hitting over 40 cities, the K.O.D. tour has been widely successful and a chance for the Hip-Hop lyricists to shine. Now the Strange Music label representative is making headlines for formally announcing the release date of his K.O.D. album. The album hits stores October 27 and features Academy Award Winners and Memphis Tennesse's home team, Three Six Mafia, as well as his Strange Music affiliates; Krizz Kaliko, Brotha Lynch Hung and Kutt Calhoun. The album should prove to be his most personal yet with tracks like “Show Me A God” and “Leave Me Alone” headling the project.

In a press release, TECH N9NE reveals that his mother's ongoing health problems served as fuel for the project. According to TECH, he turned the pain that he saw into something “beautiful.”

"I've seen so much pain recently, so many dark things. I had to take those experiences and make something beautiful out of them. I couldn't let myself fall into that hole with no chance of getting out.
I know people are feeling some of the same things I am and maybe this will let them see that everyone has those dark things they go through. Everyone can face them and be stronger in the end.”

In 2008 the indie music artist became the most successful independent Hip-Hop Artist in history sound scanning over 1 million units. You can still catch the record breaker on the K.O.D. tour with his strange music affiliates and Slaughterhouse.
