Actress and philanthropist Keshia Knight Pulliam is continuing efforts with her non-profit Kamp Kizzy by partnering with rapper, actor and entrepreneur, Christopher "Ludacris" Bridges and The Ludacris Foundation.

The two philanthropists and their foundations are aiming to feed over 250 Atlanta-based families for the Thanksgiving holiday.

Both organizations are calling on the city of Atlanta to donate canned goods (candied yams, string beans, and cranberry sauce) non-perishable food items (boxed mashed potatoes and stuffing) and turkeys for the many families in need.

There are bins located at three drop-off locations throughout the city including Wet Willies, Beya Salon Studios and Ted's Montana Grill.

The bins will be set-up to receive donations from now until Friday, November 14th.

"Now more than ever, with the state of the economy, the holiday season will be especially difficult for families with an even greater need than ever before. Kamp Kizzy and the The Ludacris Foundation are here to serve those in need." says, Keshia Knight Pulliam, founder, Kamp Kizzy.

Giving back to the community is something that always sounds like a great idea, but it is seldom that many actually stand and answer such a call.

For Southwest Atlanta Venetian Hills Elementary School, a simple playground that comes off as a necessary was clearly a privilege they were without, as it was non-existent for 15 years.

The Ludacris Foundation, however, felt it a right for these children to have an area to play and teamed with United Health Care to help that happen.

In light of the begrudging economic recession, Ludacris fans have a chance to find relief. Chris Lova Lova fans in the Atlanta area have the opportunity to enter his “Stars For Cars” LudaDay Giveaway. Luda divulged his plans via his Twitter page saying:

“I'm going 2 provide Atlanta w/ R own Stimulus package! LudaDay wknd I'm gving away cars.”

He also made sure to post a link to a webpage for his Ludacris Foundation organization providing more details. Luda will be giving away 20 cars to 20 lucky people. In order to win a car, fans must enter submissions by September 3. Additionally they should provide an essay detailing why they think they deserve to win, be 18 years of age, willing to pay taxes, registration and insurance on the car and have a valid Georgia driver's license. Cris's annual LudaDay Weekend usually takes place near the end of August in Atlanta.

In the meantime the entrepreneur and philanthropist is reuniting with an old friend this weekend. Luda will host the after party for Tommy Lee's band, Motley Crue, at his Atlanta restaurant this weekend. Tommy Lee and his bandmates will perform at Atlanta's Aaron's Amphitheater Saturday. After the concert, band followers can attend the after party at Luda's Straits eatery. Tickets are available online for $30 and proceeds will benefit Luda's foundation. Ludacris and Tommy Lee first worked together on Discovery Network's Battleground Earth reality series. The rocker and the rapper competed against each other in eco friendly challenges while on a ten-episode tour.
