The cast of HBO’s critically acclaimed show The Wire is sending their love and support to fellow cast member Idris Elba after his announcement that he tested positive for COVID-19.
HBO’s hit series The Wire has long been heralded as the “greatest tv show of all time” and over the weekend the sentiment was solidified by the American Black Film Festival.
The recent The Wire marathon, in HD, on HBO reminded us all how special the Baltimore crime drama was to many, and how it remains a masterwork. The entire series is available for pre-order on Blu-Ray for $110—that’s $50 less than it’s usual price.
