Jay-Z's New "Made In America" Trailer [VIDEO]

Can't stand trailers, but it's from Jay-Z's Life + Times so, yeah. This :24 second trailer is title "Made In America" and we can't really tell what it is exactly for. "Made In America," featuring Frank Ocean from the Watch The Throne album? Nah, it's not the song in the clip. Maybe it's a teaser for The Throne's European tour that kicks off May 20th? You got footage of what looks like London, a mic, a DJ scratching and plenty of crowd shots...so that's the safer bet.

Police Force Drake To Cut Show Short On Club Paradise Tour [VIDEO]

Drake ran into a little trouble on his Club Paradise tour last night. The YMCMB rapper hit Southern California playing to a packed house at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater in Irvine, Calif., Tuesday (May 8), but was forced to end early after authorities stopped him from performing all of the songs on his set list. “Police made me cut the show short but I love you all for rocking with me Irvine!” he tweeted after his concert.

Announcing that he was inspired to bring together a group of artists that he likes to “hear in the club,” Drizzy –rocking a white tank top and showing off his muscles—shared billing with J. Cole, 2 Chainz, French Montana, Meek Mill, and Waka Flocka Flame. "October's Very Own" ran through a collection of hits from his mixtape days, to his Take Care album bringing most of the rappers back on stage for encores. 2 Chainz, who was too late for his set, settled for a performance of “No Lie,” with Drake, before going into “Spend It,” and leaving the stage.

Up next, the Club Paradise tour will head to Phoenix, May 10.

Talib Kweli Preps Prisoner of Conscious Tour

Talib Kweli is headed back on the road. The Brooklyn MC will promote his forthcoming album with the accompanying Prisoner of Conscious tour kicking-off next month at the Fete Music Ballroom, in Providence, R.I.

Kweli recently dropped the video for the album's lead single “Distractions.” The Oh No-produced track runs along the lines of much of what we have grown to expect from the Black Star member, and serves as a precursor to the multifaceted tone of the project. His sixth solo effort also features appearances from some of the game's most respected performers including Busta Rhymes RZA, Curren$y, Kendrick Lamar, and Melania Fiona.

No doubt, the 36-year-old has been heavy in the lab these days, releasing his We Run This, Vol 7 mixtape earlier this week, which includes the Ace Hood-assisted banger, “Let Em In.”

Be on the lookout for the Prisoner of Conscious tour beginning May 18, and the album, which is slated for a summer release.

TLC Planning Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes Hologram Tour [PHOTOS]

Tupac's hologram is inspiring resurrections from other dead musicians. TLC is reportedly next in line to bring their group member Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes back from the grave, for their forthcoming 20th anniversary tour.

A rep for Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins and Rozanda "Chilli" Thomas announced the tour news to TMZ Wednesday (April 25), and according to the site, Left Eye will "pull a Tupac." Her music will be incorporated into the show, while her image will be projected onto a big screen. As of now TLC has booked five venues for the tour, and are in the midst of locking in more dates.

If they are to follow Dr. Dre's lead in making Tupac appear at Coachella, TLC may want to travel down a more frugal road to bring their deceased group member back on stage. The Good Doctor shelled out $10 million for the imagery, plus made a hefty donation to the Tupac Amaru Shakur Foundation, as a thank you to his mother for her approval.

In commemoration the 10-year anniversary of Left Eye's passing, T-Boz and Chilli reflected on the day she died. "She died a day before my birthday," she told Essence. "I remember everything. I was with security in my Porsche and I said to them, 'I feel like I'm going to get in a wreck and I want to go home.' The driver said: 'Well, that's on the other side of town.' I didn't care; I wanted to go home. I just felt something was going to happen to me, but it wasn't me — it was Lisa. I was sitting in a rocking chair in my daughter's room after putting her down when I got a call from Chilli. She was screaming. I had just gotten out the hospital from fighting sickle cell so I had to be careful about getting upset. Everybody was trying to keep me calm."

Lopes died in a car accident during a trip to South America, which she filmed for a VH1 documentary.

Dr. Dre Puts Rumors To Bed About Hologram 2pac Tour [VIDEO]

In an effort to debunk any rumors about a potential tour featuring the hologram of deceased rapper 2pac, Dr. Dre went ahead and squashed any lingering thoughts on the matter saying the expensive light show was "Strictly for Coachella, this was not done for a tour." Although, and I hate to be THAT guy, he did leave the door open saying "If a tour does actually happen, then we'll see.", yea, well just in case the book isn't fully closed on this matter, here's what we think.

Lil Kim Prepping Return Of The Queen Tour

Nicki Minaj may be threatening to retire, but Lil Kim is still going strong. Brooklyn's self-appointed Queen Bee is heading out on the road for the first time in two years.

Kim will embark on her Return of the Queen tour next month. The 11-city trek will make stops at intimate venues in cities like Philly, Cincinnati, and San Francisco. No word yet on the set-list but here's hoping it includes her latest, "Keys to the City."

The Queen Bee came to win, female rappers beware.

5 Reasons I Never Want To See Another Dead Rapper Hologram, Ever!

Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre promised us something epic for their show-stopping Coachella performance, and they followed through. Resurrecting Tupac in hologram form was one of the dopest things conceivable. They pulled off the digital feat without a hitch, and got the Internet and Hip-Hop community buzzing.

Some weren't impressed, but to others seeing Pac on stage 15 years after his death was the best thing since sliced bread. Surely at least two people in the crowd pissed their pants from the sheer excitement of thinking Tupac was back, literally. It was a moment for the ages, as far as Hip-Hop concerts are concerned. But do we want to see it again? I don't, and here are five reasons why.
