Pharrell Williams Makes Cameo In New 'Awkward Black Girl' Trailer [VIDEO]

Little bit of awkward, a whole lot of hood. Issa Rae is back! The mastermind behind the runaway hit webseries 'The Mis-Adventures of Awkward Black Girl' is back for a second season, and the trailer just hit the interwebs.

The clip finds her busting out rhymes in her journal, and even features a cameo from the original “i Am OTHER,” Pharrell. Issa Rae's show is official part of the Neptunes producer's i Am OTHER channel YouTube channel. Catch the first episode of season two on June 14.

Anchorman 2 Trailer Leaks, Watch It Now [VIDEO]

The trailer to the highly anticipated sequel to one of Will Ferrell's popular films, 'Anchorman', has just hit the interwebs via shotty cell phone footage. The movie, which is set for a 2013 release, is well under way into it's production with the original cast which included; Paul Rudd as Brian Fantana, Steve Carrell as Brick Tamland, David Koechner as Champ Kind, and the aforementioned Ferrell as the hilarious Ron Burgundy, will reprise their roles that made the movie such a laugh out loud fest.

Can't stand trailers, but it's from Jay-Z's Life + Times so, yeah. This :24 second trailer is title "Made In America" and we can't really tell what it is exactly for. "Made In America," featuring Frank Ocean from the Watch The Throne album? Nah, it's not the song in the clip. Maybe it's a teaser for The Throne's European tour that kicks off May 20th? You got footage of what looks like London, a mic, a DJ scratching and plenty of crowd shots...so that's the safer bet.

Doin' It In The Park: Pick-Up Basketball NYC is a documentary put together Bobbito Garcia and Kevin Coulia that covers the rich culture of playground basketball in New York City. Summer basketball on the concrete courts (if you're not playing AAU) is where hoop legends are made in Gotham, and the doc takes a look into this world by exhaustively traveling to hundreds of courts around the five boroughs and interviews with pick-up players, legends like Kenny Anderson, Kenny Smith and Dr. J on to streetball legends like Fly Williams, Smush Parker and Corey “Homicide” Williams.

Garcia and Couliau's sure to be thorough Doin' It In The Park: Pick-Up Basketball NYC will be released this summer and is sure to be a must see for any and all hoop fans. Watch the trailer below.

After images leaked of Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson's dramatic weight loss for one of his upcoming films, it became clear that the rapper was taking his business in the movie industry seriously.

With "Things Fall Apart" still on the way, the trailer drops for his next film, starring alongside Val Kilmer in "Gun", which was written by the rapper.

Now this movie looks right up Jackson's alley. Peep how the rapper's catalog played as the backdrop to the trailer. Vinatge 50.

Gillie Da Kid and Nipsey Hussle Make Acting Debuts in “Wrath Of Cain” [Trailer Included]

While they continue to wait on their musical careers to truly blossom and flourish, rappers Gillie Da Kid and Nipsey Hussle will mark their acting debuts alongside Ving Rhames for the film Wrath Of Cain.

As a story revolving around gang life, Ving Rhames plays the role of Cain, a notorious gang member that holds a firm grip on the streets, but inevitably finds himself behind prison walls.

Many inmates are under the influence that his death will lead to their own climb and countless efforts are made on his life.

Stating that he has no fears, his son, played by Nipsey Hussle is brought into prison as well and he must now find a means to keep his offspring protected.

With Hussle's character being a Crip, even more tension builds once it is known that his long time rival, played by Gillie Da Kid, and Blood member, is also sleeping in the same confines.

Directed by Ryan Combs and produced by Ving Rhames , Evan Louis and Eugene Henley, expect to see the film in 2010 although no official release date has been given.

Black History Month: “Blood Done Sign My Name” [Trailer]

It is an odd occurrence that Black History Month is seldom given focus on particular media outlets.

How can people truly celebrate the history without first acknowledging the trials and tribulations that happened yesterday to create a better tomorrow?

Releasing the film “Blood Done Sign My Name”, a true story is told of a Black Vietnam-era veteran, Henry Marrow, that is murdered with the assailant, allegedly, being a local White businessman, but is later found not guilty by the court, which consists of an all white jury.

That's nothing to be surprised by though.

Taking place in 1970 in North Carolina, the film focuses on a local high school teacher and the results of the decision as dictated by the civil unrest of the black community.

Take some time to know your history if you were unaware. Ignorance never pays off.

To deliver some food for thought, the film also places focus on the high school teacher, Benjamin Chavis. Chavis, played by Nate Parker, is an African American civil rights leader and has been the CEO and Co-Chairman of the Hip Hop Summit Action Network since 2001, which he co-founded with Russell Simmons.

Chavis was also the first to coin the term environmental racism, defining it as “Racial discrimination in the deliberated targeting of ethnic and minority communities for exposure to toxic and hazardous waste sites and facilities, coupled with the systematic exclusion of minorities in environmental policy making, enforcement, and remediation.”

In the Hip Hop community, he played "Minister" in the film Belly with DMX and Nas.

That's right folks, let's do our history and realize exactly what we represent.
