The BX spitter immediately got the crowd's attention with her rapid-fire lyrics, which surprised the onlookers so much that she started the intro record from the top. The femcee continued to impress, as she followed up with an a cappella verse to display her lyrical prowess. AP followed Nina B, with Jon Connor closing this portion of the show out. Connor kicked a few verses from his latest project The Blue Album and immediately made sure that the crowd knew that Michigan had invaded New York City. The Flint MC's poignant verses won the crowd over and served as a great transition to the second half of the show.

Maybach Music's, Triple C's took the stage to open the second half. Two-thirds of the group, Gunplay & Torch, spit a few records from Self Made Vol. 1 as well as Rozay's Ashes to Ashes mixtape. Following the MMG portion of the show was Cam'Ron protege Vado. The UN representative was clearly a crowd favorite and seemed to put on a full show. The Harlem MC performed hits from his Slime Flu mixtape series, including "Hey Muma" "Speaking Tongues" & "Ok Yall."

Ace Hood kicked off the Def Jam segment, opening up with his verse from DJ Khaled's "Welcome To My Hood" remix. The crowd anticipated a high energy performance from Ace, since he's known for his very gritty, uptempo sound. The Florida MC seemed to approach the show as if it were just a favor for someone and he wasn't being compensated for his performance. Being that there was no charge for the general public, this could have very well been the reason for the lack of energy in Ace's set. While he did display his lyrical skill by kicking a few a capella verses, the energy that was expected never showed.

Asher Roth's set was a bit different from his Def Jam co-d's. Roth approached the show in a free-spirit sort of way, as he repeatedly told the crowd how happy he was to be there performing. The Pennsylvania MC even went into the crowd to kick his verses, covering all sections of the packed theater. However, it seemed as though many of the fans didn't know how to receive Roth, as they seemed unfamiliar with his music or they weren't sure what to make of his appearance. Off of first glance Roth appears to be someone you'd expect to hear almost any genre of music from, other than Hip-Hop. That assumption lasts only until he begins to rhyme and you notice that he does possess the ability to "move the crowd." The Def Jam MC did a good job with all things considered and hopefully won some fans over.

The highlight of the night was definitely 2 Chainz' performance. Similar to his last show in NYC, the trapstar gave 110 percent from beginning to end. He began his show by acknowledging the allotted time that he was requested to perform in (five to ten minutes), but he informed the crowd that he was going to give them a full show. The ATLien kicked several hits off of his latest mixtape T.R.U. REALigion such as "Spend It," "K.O.," and "Riot." The former Playaz Circle MC also took it back to the beginning of the 2 Chainz era with a rendition of "Duffle Bag Boyz."

Overall it was a pretty good show with all things considered. Hopefully the next time Ace Hood performs in NYC, he's being properly compensated and he'll put on the show that his fans know him for. Continue on for pictures from the event courtesy of William Gates Photography.

Lets face it, the rap game isn't for everyone.

Albums aren't selling like the used to and regardless of what Rick Ross is talking about, not everyone is riding around in a Maybach.

For some rappers, instead of working late nights in the studio, living life on the road and getting raped by record labels and shady music industry executives, it might just be easier to get out here and rob somebody.

We're by no means encouraging a life of crime, but if this rap money starts slowing up (and in some cases the rap money already has for some of these artists), here are 10 rappers that will rob your a$$ if it came down to it.

The Artists Of Rick Ross' Maybach Music Group

Hip-Hop was shaken up when news broke that Rick Ross was unconscious after suffering a seizure on an airplane Friday afternoon.

Luckily, Ricky Rozay pulled through and is in stable condition.

It's hard work being one of the top rappers in the game, and it's even harder work being the CEO of your own company.

Since signing a multi-million dollar deal with Warner Bros. for his Maybach Music Group imprint, Ross' record label has gone from a small Miami based record label to one of the fastest growing labels in music.

Over the past 12-months, Ross has been signing more talent than New York Yankees in the offseason.

"I've been fighting a $4 million lawsuit for the last two years," Ross said. "My defense was a success. I've got to salute Xavier Donaldson, my attorney.

Whenever an artist or anybody is put in a position such as a lawsuit in this capacity, so much evidence is represented — videotapes, what have you.

To be able to walk out of a courtroom giving the plaintiff less than 10 percent of what he requested, I consider my defense a success. God bless America! The lawsuit is done. Even though I plan to appeal the decision, I thank the courts for the monetary decision that they made. They were extremely lenient, I appreciate that. It's back to the business for the Boss."

As previously reported, the U.S. District Federal Court in New York awarded DJ Vlad $250,000 in punitive damages and $50,000 in compensatory damages against Ross after an altercation in 2008 involving Vlad and Ross' Triple C's group.

Vlad alleged that Ross orchestrated an attack that left him with a broken eye socket, a broken nose, nerve damage to his face, cheek, upper lip, teeth and gums after he posted images of Ross dressed in a correctional officer's uniform on his Web site.

On Thursday, Ross told MTV News that he's putting the lawsuit behind him and focusing on the June 29 release of his LP, Teflon Don.

Although the amount he is scheduled to pay is not chump change, Ross stated that he was happy to have the case resolved finally.

"It's a couple of papers, but it was a two-year-long case," Ross said in the interview. "After court expenses, etc., the plaintiff may get $40 or 50K. I'm blessed to be in the situation I'm in.  4 mil was at stake. It's behind me."

If Ross is happy, Vlad is ecstatic. On Friday (April 16) he tweeted his reaction about the judgment stating:

"Today is a great day" on Friday morning.

Although Vlad has not released a formal reaction, his attorney, Brian D. Caplan stated that the verdict shows that terroristic behavior will not be tolerated, even by celebrities:

"There is no place in civilized society for members of the media to have to fear retribution for their news coverage and commentary.”

Caplan stated, “The jury awarded Mr. Lyubovny $250,000 in punitive damages against Rick Ross to send a message that such conduct will not be tolerated or condoned."

Man, I hope they don't see the video of Triple C's member Gunplay snorting an 8-ball, t hat would really look bad.

Holding a blood drive, rapper Rick Ross was able to bring people together for the greater cause and provide any donations, food blood and anything else that they were able to give.
