With ever body and their mama jumping in on the reality TV bug, Hip-Hop Wired has learned that the Wu-Tang Clan is in talks to bring their army to the small screen. Well that is if they can get all their players to play ball. According to an inside source, he revealed,

"Word on the streets says that Tareef, of Raekwon's management team and longtime Clan affiliate (shown here with Raekwon at an event), has been in talks for quite some time with VH1 to do a reality show based on the WuTang Clan, which he created. Inside sources at VH1 confirm this and say that talks have been held up because Ghostface Killah has been the only hold out. Sources also say that GFK has asked to make more money than the rest of the members in the Clan causing even more division amongst the Clan."

Ghostface also recently spoke to Hip-Hop about having differences and contractual arguments with Clan members in particular The RZA yet setting those problems aside when it's time to do music.

“At the end of the day we brothers and we gotta man up about certain things. Don't get me wrong we argue till we almost getting ready to fight B and it's just what it is. So it just be are we gonna be mad at each other or are we gonna go to work? So it's either… It's two things, we adults we grown. I know your power, you know mine. We both valuable chess pieces so what you want to do. So it's like that and at the end of the day, we all brothers and we all love one another. Because it's like not naan one of us wants something to happen to the next man. I don't care how mad you get. You don't want that or want something that bad. You my brother but I can still be mad at you. Your brother might wear your pants and mess them up and you might even do something to him. You might yell at him, even fu*k him up but at the end of the day that's still your brother. And if anybody mess with him, you still gonna have to go in and step in there and do the do whether right or wrong."

Ghostface just dropped his eighth official album this week entitled Ghostdini The Wizard of Poetry In Emerald City. Ghost is also highly featured on Raekwon's Only Built 4 Cuban Linx 2 which dropped last month. Despite the discrepancies, it seems that The Wu is remaining on their lyrical grind.

The RZA is also gearing to drop his new memoir, The Tao Of Wu on October 15th. The Tao Of Wu is a personal memoir in which he talks about his passions for kung-fu movies, martial arts, chess, and music. He also discusses his own spirituality, growing up in the projects of New York and his multi-faceted career.

The scene is set. New York City's Hiro Ballroom at the cushy Maritime Hotel. It's the Myspace Music, Socialight and Digiwaxx backed release party for Ghostface Killah's Ghostdini: Wizard of Poetry and the lines are wrapped around the block.

After an extended set from DJ dB, hostess Jasmine Solano attempted to engage the A.D.D. crowd before bringing on opening act Beatnick and K-Salaam. Their sonic serenade of otherworldly instrumentals slashed with raw from-the-gutter turntabalism, was quickly followed by Hot 97 radio personalities Cipha Sounds and Peter Rosenberg warming up the crowd with an intro that preceded the actual performance by about an hour. But the virtue of patience paid off when Ghostdini took to the stage. Launching into “Criminology” the silver and crimson-clad Wally Champ set-off round after round of poetic pugilism serving “fish” from his catalogue of classics.

Tony Starks also blasted Wu-bangers such as “4th Chamber” off of GZA's, Liquid Swords, Ice Cream” off of Only Built 4 Cuban Linx when the performance morphed into “Ghostface & Friends” with a surprise appearance from U-God performing his verse from “Mystery of Chessboxing.” Back to back to back surprises followed as Jadakiss joined Ghostdini for a rendition of “Run,” followed by Redman and "Tonight's Da Night.” Super-surprise when Large Professor took us on a throw-back throw down with “Looking at the Front Door.” And to top it all of Kid Cudi came on stage and traded verses of Ghostface's “Strawberry.”

A highlight of the night was when Ghostface explained that he lost royalties on his albums, getting zero publishing for his classics due to samples. He asked for appreciation for him giving up the money in order to deliver classic albums for his fans. But just when he was about to launch into cuts from Ghostdini; Wizard of Poetry, a fight broke out… ONSTAGE!!! A disruptive individual within the entourage brought the show to a halt while they sorted out what U-God described as ‘family matters.' The show soon resumed with Raheem DeVaughn joining Ghost for “Do Over” and closing the show with “Back Like That.” All in all, it was a great night of Ghostface satisfying his “Supreme Clientele.” And as the fans journeyed home, they were treated to the sight of that disruptive individual regaining consciousness as he was being loaded into an ambulance.

Now that's Hip-Hop!!!

Ghostface made it no secret that he was unhappy with his former production company and made headlines with the announcement of his ongoing court battle to receive unpaid royalties. Face took Wu Tang Productions and Robert Diggs, better known as RZA, to court about unsettled payment. Now after four years, court documents have appeared that cite that the case was settled and Face walked away more than $150,000 richer.

The case originally took shape in 2005 when he claimed that RZA owed him from early music the pioneer made with his Wu Tang family.Unhappy with the situation, Ghost spoke out to MTV saying:

Don't play with a grown man's pockets. Don't ever let a ni**a feel like you stealing from him…because we was the ni**as that would've did anything for you, jump in front of a bullet for you."

His old Wu Tang fam, U-God, also served RZA with court papers alleging that he owed him $170,000 in royalties. That case is ongoing.

Ghostface's new album, Ghostdini: The Wizard of Poetry in Emerald City, was released exclusively to Imeem for free streaming before it's September 29 release. You can listen to the full album here.
