According to The Mirror, B will pull out all the stops and bring out a number of celebrity guess boost her set. Sources close to the matter claim the songstress will employ Kanye West, Coldplay front man Chris Martin and hubby Jay-Z.

U2 and Cold Play are also headlining this year's festival – acknowledged as the largest open-air music concert in the world – whcih takes place in Somerset, England, June 22-26.

Nicki Minaj, Rihanna, Beyonce, Sade, Collaboration Album Released For Japan Relief Effort

In what stands as a major global music relief effort to benefit those affected by the earthquake and tsunami in Japan, over 30 of the biggest names in contemporary music have joined together for the worldwide release of "Songs for Japan," a compilation of 38 chart-topping hits and classic tracks, available worldwide on the iTunes Store for $9.99 starting today (www.itunes.com/songsforjapan).

Proceeds from the album's sale will benefit the disaster relief efforts of the Japanese Red Cross Society.

The society will use the funds for the ongoing provision of immediate relief and for eventual recovery support to the affected population.

The artists participating on "Songs for Japan," the music labels and music publishers have waived their royalties and proceeds from the worldwide sales of the album to ensure that the JRCS receives as much support as possible from this global initiative.

iTunes will also donate its proceeds from the album's worldwide sales to the benefit of the JRCS, and has prominently featured the project throughout its stores worldwide

With people still struggling to keep their jobs, and some even their homes, will.I.am has started a new program to aid people who may be losing their homes or facing foreclosure.

The Black Eyed Peas frontman told The Sun that his i.am.home Mortage Relief Program will help find jobs for the unemployed.

"I rescue families who are losing their homes because they have no jobs and they can't pay the mortgage and the banks are foreclosing on their homes," said will.I.am.
"All the people we help are debt free, they don't have to pay me back, but we've had some hiccups," will.I.am continued. "There was one lady whose home we rescued and we found her a job at a hospital. Then she didn't show up to work on her first day and got fired."

Bono and Black Eyed Peas

Even while helping others, will.I.am is still finding time to make big moves in his career. The rapper/producer has recently linked up with Irish rock band U2 to produce the legendary band's next album.

"Just being around Bono and the guys is inspiring. It's like how a government should be. Bono for president of the world, I say…" will.I.am said.

"There's only one type of music and that's good music, no matter what genre it is. Bono is one of those guys who sees it that way and there's no right or wrong. There are no rules once you lift the veil off."

While we may not have heard anything yet, will.I.am shared that Bono's A-list celebrity friends have liked what they've heard so far.

"I went to Bono's house for lunch and George Clooney and Cindy Crawford were there," will.I.am revealed. "I played some of the songs we'd been working on together and everyone was blown away. They all left the finger food to come and hear."

Previously working with Coldplay, Empire of the Sun, Bono of U2 and many others, Jay is ensuring that he won't just make music that only Hip-Hop heads will bob to.

His latest upcoming collaboration is with Jack White, known as a member of The White Stripes along with The Raconteurs.

During an interview with GQ, White spoke more on the upcoming project between himself and Jay.

“I just did a record with Jay-Z.  We did a song together a few weeks ago. It was incredible. I played him something that I've been kicking around for a while and he immediately came out with words for it. It's unbelievable-sounding.”

As days continue to progress, the rapper from Marcy is evolving more into Euro-Jay.  He said it himself, he's not a businessman, he's a business man.

The more he keeps experimenting, who knows exactly how his next release will shape up to be.

Even with the success that the rapper has been able to accumulate within his years in the rap game, the world must have still be in awe to see Jay Z performing for the World Series in 2009.

Once that was taken care of, it was only a matter of time before he was tapped for the Super Bowl and even found himself alongside Bono, of U2, creating the Haiti dedication song “Stranded”.

In the history of Hip Hop, never has there been a period which it was so accepted and had begun to expand itself and become globally accepted.

As part of the movement, Jay spoke with MTV and reacted to how far his career has taken him with his music touching everywhere now.

"I get out and see the world and more of the world is accepting of our music and what we do. I'm just inspired by the whole thing and how big hip-hop can be and how much of a phenomenon it is.”

Jigga also reflected on his World Series performance to make the point that no one could have ever imagined a day when Hip Hop would be the opening act for such an event.

“You couldn't imagine hip-hop being at the World Series. I touched the championship trophy before A Rod and the Vince Lombardi trophy before the Saints. You couldn't imagine that happening 10 years ago. How about five years ago? I'm saying that to say that the journey hip-hop has taken and we are right now, there's no imitation to it.”

A genre that has been condemned by so many for lewdness, explicit language and has been accused of brainwashing young minds has apparently become a force that is unstoppable.  Hip Hop has made major leaps in its history and there are no signs of anyone being able to be a roadblock to the movement.

"As champions of justice, Bono and Wyclef have brought the national spotlight to human rights violations, empowered local activists, and transformed the lives of millions of people living in poverty from Port-Au-Prince to Darfur," said Kerry Kennedy, founder of the RFK Center for Justice and Human Rights. "Their efforts evoke the spirit of my father and we are honored to recognize them."

The organization will recognize Wyclef Jean for his work to strengthen and inspire change in his native country of Haiti through his Yele Haiti organization (www.yele.org) . The award will honor Bono, lead singer of U2 and co-founder of the advocacy organization ONE and (Product) RED, for his efforts in the fight against extreme poverty and preventable disease, particularly in Africa (www.one.org, www.joinred.com).
In addition to the award presentation, there will be special appearances and performances by Wyclef Jean, Governor David Paterson, Governor Jon Corzine, Peter Gallagher, Matthew Modine, Adam Arkin, Joey Pantoliano, and Gloria Reuben. There will also be a special tribute to Senator Edward Kennedy, who served as a member of the RFK Board of Directors from 1968 until his passing this year.
