According to police, 17-year-old Jose Toress shot and critically wounded Anthony Alejandre at Torres' home while the two were playing with the arsenal of illegal weapons that Toress kept under his bed.

His artillery included a fully automatic TEC-9, a rifle, three handguns, swords and knives.

According to police, Torres changed his account of the events that led up to the shooting three times, with his most recent tale being, "They each grab a gun.”

He said, the victim took the small revolver, he took the 9mm Ruger, which he knew was loaded. He then pointed it at his friend and pulled the trigger," said a detective close to the case.

Authorities are currently trying to determine where all the illegally purchased firearms came from and how much the suspect's family knew about their whereabouts.

Alejandre remains in critical condition at the hospital. The bullet pierced his neck and severed his spinal cord. Doctors are saying he may never be able to walk again.

The 5-4 vote upheld the Second Amendment right to extend to city, state and federal laws.  As we previously reported, this ruling comes a few days after the Chicago mayor Richard Daley vowed to reinforce Chicago's ban on handguns, a ban that had been placed in the city since 1982.

Proponents of gun rights have targeted Chicago's handgun ban as a test of the strength and extent of the Second Amendment.  They are now likely to press their victory in federal courts across the US, seeking repeal of a range of gun-control measures.

In response to the ruling, Chicago mayor Richard Daley said he was planning to hold an emergency council meeting to assess how the city could move forward with other gun-control measures. Chicago already requires owners of rifles and shotguns to register them.

City authorities say those regulations could also be extended to handguns.

Since the Supreme Court's decision did not specifically reject the handgun ban in Chicago, the measure will remain in place until a lower court rules on the issue.

Police found the bodies of 17-year-old Dante Coleman and 17-year-old Ibitoye Olayinka lying face down on railroad tracks Monday near the city's Southside Princeton Park neighborhood.

Authorities believe the pair were kidnapped late Sunday night and thrown into the trunk of a car before the double homicide.

Both boys suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the head and back but police have yet to release a possible motive in the case.

Authorities say they were investigating a shooting Sunday night around 11 p.m. after witnesses reported hearing gun shots and saw someone being forced into a trunk.

Police estimate that over the weekend at least 60 people were shot in the outskirts of Chicago and 10 were killed.

With details scarce, reports state that the rapper was shot in Queens after Loso's show located at Club Amazura.

G Baby, 22, was the protégé of Memphis Bleek and was a new artist of Bleek's upcoming label, Get Low Records.  Outside of the music business, the rapper stated that G Baby was also a childhood friend.

After hearing the news of his friend's fatal shooting, Bleek turned to his fans and Twitter to give his reaction to such a tragedy.

“I'm in mood I can't explain I lost a real n**ga 2day R.I.P. to my n**ga who was like a bro to me!!  G.BABY..Love u G….”

“2nite goes out for the baby boy G I got u my n**ga see u on the other side!  Thx to those who showed me love…getlow we to strong to break!!”

Fab also gave some words and paid condolences to another fallen soldier.

Along with Brown, there has been a rising wave of violence within New York as a 13-year-old, Kevin Miller, was shot in the back of the head from a stray bullet back in October.

After taking offense to a remark about performing a spit shine for some Stacy Adams shoes, a Black man goes on a verbal assault while on a bus with the older white man.

Unwilling to back down, the elder stated that he isn't afraid of him, which most have rubbed the Black man the wrong way as he continued to try and send threats of placing his foot inside his rectum.

Everything blew out of proportion after the elder went to his seat and the Black man, having been verbally provoked, went to the front of the bus to slap the man.

What happens next, nobody could have saw coming.

HAHA…notice how at first the girls are saying to kick the old man's butt, but after he's left in blood they tell him he can file charges.

This just goes to show to not think you are something that you are not or else you might end up slumped over spitting blood out of your mouth.

Police spokesman Matt Barnes tells the Associated Press that Nathan Bozoniea was killed Monday after a house party spilled into a street.

Witnesses report that Bozoniea was walking down the sidewalk when he was intentionally run over by a white four-door vehicle.

The people inside then got out of the car and began beating the boy and others around him with an aluminum baseball bat.

The teen died from injuries to his head and upper body.

Police are still searching for the people involved in the crime.

These killings in Ciudad Juarez have risen the death toll to 24 people that have been killed in Mexico as a result of violence since Saturday.  The violence has emerged as a result on an ongoing turf war that has been waged between drug cartels within the country.

Ciudad Juarez is known as being one of the deadliest cities within the world which is located across the border from El Paso, Texas.

As it stands now, close to two dozen teens and young adults have been hospitalized in relation to the assault.

It was reported that then victims had all come together in order to witness a boxing match, according to Martha Lujan, who lived at the housing complex where most of the victims resided.  Other witnesses and family members stated that none of them should have actually had ties to any drug trafficking.

"It must have been a huge mistake," said Lujan, while speaking with the Associated Press.

Lujan further detailed the event stating that two trucks pulled up and was packed with armed men who proceeded to open fire on the young adults.

According to Chihuahua State Attorney Patricia Gonzales, ten people were killed during the incident and the other three passed while in local hospitals.  When authorities arrived to the scene, bodies laid scattered throughout the house.

"I think there was some confusion," a witness said. "We're seeking justice." The witness, Henry, prefers to only provide his first name in fear that it could lead to further retaliation.

This would not serve as the first act of violence recently in the city as 2,250 people have been a victim of the turf war in 2009.  The death toll has risen past 15, 000 in the past three years.

Sunday morning, authorities discovered three bodies that were burned inside an abandoned vehicle.  Another incident involved the murder of three women and two men, who officials stated were killed while driving in their van and their bodies were filled with bullets.
