Lil Wayne has always been outspoken about his love of sports. But the diehard Green Bay Packers fan's alleged heckling of the Dallas Cowboys' Dez Bryant may have led to an altercation with the star wide receiver at Miami's Club LIV this past Sunday (January 15).

According to the Miami Herald's David Smiley, a Miami Beach Police Department source says that Weezy is the “famous rapper” that was previously reported to have gotten into it with Bryant at the luxurious night club this past weekend.

The Dallas Morning News reports that the altercation started when someone mocked both Bryant's performance on the field and his recent financial woes. Last December, the Endurance Capital Fund threatened to sue Bryant claiming the former Oklahoma State standout failed to repay a $100,000 loan. According to the star receiver's mentor, David Wells, Bryant and his crew were detained but not arrested by MBPD after what he described as a verbal altercation.

MBPD sources told the Miami New Times that there is no record of Bryant being detained but did confirm that there was “a bit of a melee outside LIV that night with a drunk patron striking a security guard.”

Lil Wayne spoke to VIBE magazine about some of his political views and his sentiment was not far from Kanye West's bold statement about the former president.

Weezy expressed his thoughts on the Republican Party and President Obama.

When asked about some of the GOP White House hopefuls, Wayne says he's not surprised at the far-right's view of the world.

“You learn from what the right-wing is doing and you take something from it,” Wayne tells VIBE. “I feel like as a people the most that we can do is better ourselves and learn.

Then look at yourself and ask ‘Am I the person they're talking about or am I not?' You have to make the most of who you are because the Republicans are never going to like us.”

Wayne also made a remark that the right-wing criticisms of President Obama have more to do with his color than his policies.

It sounds like this was a small excerpt from a statement that may have more of an explanation when the actual article hits stands. We'll wait.

The Young Money general is the narrator for a tale that features a young girl caught in a whirlwind of turmoil due to a disturbing upbringing. It leads her down a path of destruction while Weezy croons next to his guitar as if his words are the soundtrack to her life.

The video then shows an alternate world for the girl as she gets it right, and a surprise ending gives the audience insight on how she learned to love.

On Saturday, 1/4 of the Hot Boys ripped through his tracks "Uptown Thang" and "My World" at the House Of Blues while Wayne stood by and recited the verses.

As previously reported, B.G. previously spoke to HipHopWired about the possibility of a Hot Boys reunion and said Lil Wayne's previous incarceration might cause a holdup but "it's still gonna happen."

In addition to touring across the country on his I Am Still Music tour, Lil Wayne is speaking on his Young Money protégés Drake and Nicki Minaj and revealing that he has yet to listen to either one of their albums.

The YM head visited Hot 97 New York Tuesday and chatted with Angie Martinez on a number of topics.

When Martinez brought up the platinum sales of Drake's Thank Me Later and Nicki Minaj's Pink Friday however, Wayne revealed that he had yet to listen to either one.

“I never heard Drake's album. I never heard Nicki's album. I swear to God. I work too hard,” He revealed.

He also added that he's sure neither one of them would be surprised by the news and hopes they don't take it the wrong way.

“They would probably guess it. I'm always focused on something and it captures my whole attention, I can't do nothing else. Drake and Nick, don't take that no kinda way."

In addition to speaking on Drake and Nicki, Wayne also revealed that his favorite television show is “Jersey Shore.”

Weezy sang praises to Jersey Shore star Vinny for rocking a “Free Weezy” shirt and added that Jenni a.k.a. “J-Woww” ‘could get it.'

“I just started watching 'Jersey Shore…The other day, Vinny had a 'free Weezy' shirt on. I rock with Vinny. I like Dina and Angelina and Jenny. Now, if I catch one of them, it's on. I like Dina's swag cause she's loud. Jenny, she could get it. When she goes out and throws them dresses on, she could get it."

Before leaving, Weezy also revealed a little known fact, that Minaj's hit “Did It On Em” was originally scheduled to be his but her final version came out “better.”

Lil Wayne was heavily criticized by the Hip-Hop community when crossing over genres for the release of his Rock inspired album Rebirth but despite the critics, the album went on to sell over 500,000 copies.

However, Weezy isn't hanging up his rock star title just yet.

Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst revealed on twitter,

"Oh, excuse me, sixteenth song mixed is Ready To Go featuring Lil Wayne! …I love it."

The band had collaborated with Hip-Hop acts in the past, including Method Man, Redman, DJ Premier and Swizz Beatz. This collaboration will hold special value since this album will be the band's first album in eight years.

Raekwon is also rumored to appear on the album as well.

There is no release date yet speculated, but the album is allegedly titled Gold Cobra.

Busta, who was on the bill to perform, was joined onstage by Weezy who surprised spring breakers and took the mic as well.

As previously reported, Wayne is scheduled to kick off his I Am Music II tour dates later this month.
