Ashanti Not Replacing Fergie

Will.i.am is refuting claims that Ashanti will be joining Black Eyed Peas.

Rumors have been swirling for weeks that Fergie, the lead singer for the group, would be leaving the collective and would be replaced by the "Rain On Me" singer.

According to Will.i.am however, those rumors are untrue.

On Tuesday, the rapper/BEP frontman lashed out at Wendy Williams on Twitter for falsely reporting the news on her The Wendy Williams show.

"As a journalist you should check facts before spreading rumors," he said. "Going to @bep twitter page to find out the truth is easy."

 

Wendy quickly responded saying,

"Thx will and how u doin'? Will address tomorrow during hot topics. xo."

 

Ashanti and Fergie have yet to respond to the rumors themselves.

In addition to revamping his father's ‘No Limit Records' empire, Romeo Miller is preparing to take over television screens on the new season of “Dancing With The Stars.”

The 21-year-old was recently spotted out in L.A. prepping for practice with his dance partner Chelsie Hightower, who he's been spotted in the studio with before the show's March 21 debut.

Before getting to work on his dance moves, the college athlete recently revealed to RumorFix.com who he thinks his biggest competition is, television host Wendy Williams.

The new ‘No Limit' head tells RumorFix,

"My biggest competitor ... I'd probably have to say is Wendy Williams because she got that girl power going with her show or whatever.


He also adds that former playmate Kendra Wilkinson may give him a run for his money but he ultimately plans to win.

“And you know, Kendra she got some dance moves being a Playboy bunny and everything…I better win. I'm a college athlete. I'm very competitive."

Dancing With The Stars Lineup Announced

 

The 2011 lineup of ABC's Dancing With The Stars has officially been announced and includes a rapper, a television show host and a boxing legend.

This year's season of ‘DTWS' will feature boxer Sugar Ray Leonard, No Limit head Romeo Miller and talk show host Wendy Williams.

Also competing for the prize will be former Playmate Kendra Wilkinson, wrestler Chris Jericho, Kirstie Alley and Hines Ward.

Dancing with The Stars will premiere Monday, March 21st on ABC.

In addition to being a famed talk show host, Wendy Williams will add ‘Dancing With The Stars' contestant to her resume.

The 5-foot-11 celeb has been tapped by DWTS to be on the next season of the show that brings together celebs competing for a trophy and cash for charity.

The NY Post reports that her ‘Wendy Williams Show' will go on hiatus for a month during taping but a rep for the starlet says,

“We have no confirmation on that. Production hasn't added any last-minute or unplanned hiatus days to the schedule.”


Williams previously criticized "Dancing With The Stars' contestant Kate Gosselin whose dancing she called "awkward and horrible."

According to reports, The Game Show Network will air 32 half-hour episodes of the new show "Love Triangles," which has been described as a cross between a game and a talk show.

Helped and hosted by Williams, the guests must must chose one person for an exclusive relationship by the time the show has ended.

GSN senior programming VP Kelly Goode told Variety:

"We've had great success with our dating and relationship game shows 'Baggage' and 'The Newlywed Game.  Love Triangle' will follow in that vein and Wendy will bring a strong voice, personality and sense of humor to the show."

Although she may have a new gig, Wendy will continue to host or own talk show "The Wendy Williams Show," and says she is open to many other projects.

"Love Triangles" will debut on April 18th on the Game Show Network Channel, will you be watching?
