"Over and over again, they will tell you that America is down and out, and they'll tell you who to blame, and ask if you're better off than you were before the worst crisis in our lifetimes,” he said while in Virginia. "But you know, the real question — the question that will actually make a difference in your lives and the lives of your children — is not just how we're doing today, but how we'll be doing tomorrow."

Challenging voters to make the right decision come November, Obama also told the crowd that the end result is in their hands.  "When we look back four years from now, or 10 years from now, or 20 years from now, won't we be better off if we have the courage to keep moving forward? That's the question in this election.  That's the question in this election.  And the outcome is entirely up to you.”

With his campaign in the full-swing, the POTUS continues to be the subject of racists rants. Last week, an Atlanta bar owner posted a sign calling Obama the "ni**er in the White House," and refused to remove the comments from the front of his establishment.

The Secret Service has confirmed that someone fired a bullet that struck the White House, according to the Associated Press. The President's official security detail says the bullet struck an exterior window of Pres. Barack Obama's place of residence, but was stopped by bullet resistant glass.

A second round was also located outside. Both bullets were discovered on Tuesday (November 15). Witnesses reported hearing gunshots on Friday (November 11) and seeing two vehicles flee the scene at a high rate of speed. An AK-47 assault rifle was found nearby.

The Secret Service has yet to tie the two incidents together through ballistics evidence.

On Wednesday (November 16), authorities arrested Oscar Ortega-Hernandez in connection with last Friday's shooting. Pennsylvania police apprehended Ortega-Hernadez at a hotel near Indiana, Pa around noon. An arrest warrant was issued for Ortega-Hernadez on Friday. Authorities say he moved to the D.C. area over a month ago. The 21-year-old was reported missing by his family in Idaho Falls, Idaho on Halloween.

Willow Smith Performing At White House ‘Easter Egg Roll'

Willow Smith is continuing to land big gigs before the release of her Roc Nation assisted album, the latest being a stint at this year's White House ‘Easter Egg Roll.'

Smith was announced as a performer for Sunday's Rockin' Egg Roll where she'll join Colbie Caillat, Greyson Chance, pre-teen singing group Mindless Behavior, John Lithgow, Sesame Street, and Little Beats and DJ WillyWow.

Colbie Caillat will sing the National Anthem.

This year the largest annual public event at the White House will feature a “Get Up and Go!” theme focusing on promoting health and wellness and encouraging children to lead healthy and active lives.

This is a central part of the First Lady's Let's Move! initiative, which is a national effort to combat childhood obesity.

Along with musical performances, the Easter Egg Roll will feature a Storytime Stage where Kelly Ripa, Mark Consuelos and family; John Lithgow; Elmo, Maria and Gordon of Sesame Street; John Bemelmans Marciano; Kristi Yamaguchi; and Geena Davis will read to children.

30,000 people from all 50 states and the District of Columbia have received tickets to the annual Easter Egg Roll and for a third year in a row, tickets were distributed online.

Members of the public were selected to participate through an online lottery.

His win was a huge upset for Democrats especially considering that Brown has been extremely vocal about his opposition to healthcare reform.

He defeated Democrat Martha Coakley the once favored candidate in the race.

With his election, Brown will become the 41st Republican in the 100-member Senate, which could allow the GOP to block the president's health care legislation.

Coakley was needed to win to provide the 60 democrats allotted to block Republicans from using filibusters against healthcare.

His win is being considered a “stunning upset” for the White House.

Damn Massachusetts, you couldn't pull through for Ted?

The man was seen Wednesday around 5 p.m.  stripping around the corner from the President's home before taking his leisurely run.

He was apprehended by Secret Service in less than a minute and taken to a hospital for a mental evaluation.

The temperature was around 35 degrees.

SMH….poor guy clearly needs help.

White House officials claim they were just being “hospitable” when they allowed Harvey and Paula Darden from Hogansville, Georgia access to the breakfast the day before Veterans Day when they arrived for a tour.

According to the Associated Press, the couple was ushered into the event two weeks before Tareq and Michaele Salahi infamously crashed the Obamas' state dinner for the prime minister of India.

White House and Secret Service officials claim that the Dardens went through the appropriate security screenings and were allowed into the breakfast as a courtesy because there were no public tours the day they arrived.

The couple rebuttals that claim, however, and told the AP they thought they were taking a regularly scheduled tour until they were ushered into the East Room, offered a buffet spread and told they'd be meeting the president.

The AP also reports that when they expressed concern to a White House aide, they were told to, quote:

"Go with the flow."

Ummmmm……does anyone else see a HUGE problem with this?

This NEVER happened when Bush was in office.

He told the AP,

“My father beat my mother and my father beat me, and you don't do that. It's something which I think affected me for a long time, and it's something that I've just recently come to terms with.”

The President has never spoken of abuse from his father. In his memoir he claims that his father was exceedingly absent in his life up until his death in 1982.

Ndesandi would not speak on his relationship with his brother but has plans to see him when the President visits China, where he resides, on November 15.

President Obama has at least six other siblings in Kenya.

Barack Obama, Sr. divorced the head of state's mother in 1964.

Second Lady Jill Biden, White House advisor Valerie Jarrett, Social Secretary advisor Desiree Rogers, and several members of the first lady's staff and the senior staff in the West Wing will serve as mentors.

The program includes 10th and 11th grade girls from public and private schools in Washington, Maryland and Virginia and is designed to give the students access to accomplished women. The girls chosen were nominated by their high school principals.

Michelle Obama's mentoring program is expected to expand slightly in the forthcoming weeks.

The White House has plans to start a mentoring program for boys as well.

"Youth violence is not a Chicago problem, any more than it is a black problem, a white problem or a Hispanic problem, it is an American problem.”

He also added that the Obama administration plans to ask for $25 million in next year's budget for crime prevention programs.

Secretary Duncan spoke out on the situation as well adding that an emergency grant of $500,000 would be given to Fenger Academy High School, the school Derrion Albert attended, for counselors and grief programs.

Nice to see the White House taking a stand. $500,000 sounds like an awful lot of money though for one school's counseling and grief programs. Hope they use it wisely.

The Republican representative from Arizona was one of the first people to question the legitimacy of America's first Black President, helping to kick off a movement that would eventually lead to the “Birther” phenomena that plagues sane Americans daily.

Recently, the Congressman has upped the wager in the battle of intellectual good against the legion of buffoons that follow nimrods such as Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh.

Speaking to an audience at the “How to Take Back America” conference, the House representative launched a linguistic salvo aimed at the White House, speaking in a manner that can only be described as disrespectful and unprecedented.

“Obama's first act as president of any consequence, in the middle of a financial meltdown, was to send taxpayers' money overseas to pay for the killing of unborn children in other countries," said Franks to a sea of supportive like-minded numbskulls.,”

The speech by Congressman Franks marks the continuation of personal attacks against the leader of the free world.

Among some of the first to speak out against the speech by Franks and other seemingly inconceivable attacks against the White House is People For the American Way's Right Wing Watch, a social group that tasks itself with keeping fringe right-wingers accountable for their actions.

Representative Trent Franks' remarks at the How to Take Back America Conference show a stunning lack of respect for our President and the office of the presidency itself,” remarked organization President Michael B. Keegan in a press statement.

“Representative Franks is following the lead of Glenn Beck, but he is a member of Congress, not a talk show host, and he should act like one.”
