Gucci Mane’s announcement of 1017 Brick Squad’s upcoming wave of projects was more than a precursor of things to come; it was the beginning of his album rollout. That brings us to today, which kicks off with “Panoramic Roof,” a new Young Thug-assisted record by the incarcerated rapper.
Tyga debuted a Young Thug-assisted record called “Hookah” a few months back, but until now, it was unclear if it was a throwaway. Today, the YMCMB rapper debut a visual for the cut, which infers that the song could appear on an upcoming project.
Gucci Mane’s 1017 Brick Squad imprint plan to flood the streets with music, beginning with three albums from current and past artists — Young Thug (The Purple Album), Migos (The Green Album) and PeeWee Longway (The White Album) — due to release on June 17. Two of the aforementioned rappers appear on a new track affectionately titled, “1017.”
It’ll take something a lot more serious than being incarcerated to stop Gucci Mane from releasing mounds of new music. The good folks at 1017 Brick Squad dropped an audio clip of the Atlanta rapper announcing what he and his cohorts have in store for the year via a call from behind bars.
