Pharrell Williams Launching 24 Hour Cable Channel With Karmaloop
Karmaloop’s CEO Greg Selkoe and Pharrell Williams spoke with Emily Chang on Bloomberg Television’s “Bloomberg West” about launching their new 24 hour cable television channel.
Greg points out that television has repetitive content and they plan to broadcast cult classics, kung-fu classics and edgy content on their channel.
MTV used to target the audience they’re going for but since they aren’t anymore there is a void that Karmaloop is set to fill.
Pharrell talks about expanding his brand and how important it is for artists to work on a multitude of platforms.
