Maybach Music Group boss Rick Ross and his recent alignment with legendary Hip-Hop producer Dr. Dre had Twitter abuzz after Rozay tweeted a photo of himself alongside the good doctor and DJ Khaled. Although Ross didn’t reveal what happened during the gathering, it apparently left quite an impression on the MMG captain.
MTV News’ lead correspondent Sway chatted with the Bawse about the secretive meeting over the weekend in Miami, and Ross coolly expressed his joy. “We got the opportunity to just first and foremost touch base like bosses,” said Ross. “We went out, we had dinner, we just discussed ideas and that led to the studio.”
Still remaining vague on the details, the meeting and instruction from Dre has inspired Rozay to approach his craft from a different angle. “The advice he gave me, it’s already affected the way I’ve been in the studio for the last week,” shared Ross. “So let’s just say he’s full of knowledge and he’s a solid guy.”
Rozay’s fifth solo album God Forgives, I Don’t is slated for a 2012 release after being delayed last year. Ross’ latest official mixtape currently circulating in the streets is Rich Forever.
