The always philanthropic and always present in the Atlanta community, Ludacris, strikes again with his charitable ways.

September brought an onslaught of tumultuous flood waters that left parts of metro Atlanta devastated. Offering to aid his ailing city, Luda stepped up through his Ludacris Foundation to donate $10,000 for victims of the tragedy.

Now several months later, he’s stepping in again and helping a local elementary school that was hit hardest by the crisis.

Cris visited with students from Clarkdale elementary in Austell, Georgia to help the students who found their entire elementary school completely submerged under flood waters.

Luda visited Austell Intermediate and Compton Elementary, where the students have been placed while their school continues to be repaired, and donated 500 coats through the LudaCares initiative of his Ludacris Foundation.

He told local Atlanta news channel, 11Alive News that he wanted to bring early holiday cheer to the children saying,

“We’re here in Cobb County giving coats for children. Gving ’em an early Thanksgiving and an early Christmas — or a Luda-Christmas, I should say.”

Good for Cris, nice to see that he really does care about his community.
