Sorry to burst the bubble, kids. It looks like that Justin Timberlake album that was reported to be worked on earlier today has been shot down by a rep of the artist turned actor. According to Billboard, Timberlake is indeed working with Timbaland on some new material, however a new album is not on the horizon.
Producer Jim Beanz, who wrote Britney Spears’ smash hit “Gimme More” and is closely affiliated with Timbaland, told UK pop music site Digital Spy that “It’s still in the early stages, but they have a lot of tracks. While I’ve been over here in the UK they’ve been working, so by the time I get back they’ll have a whole load of ideas and I’m going to have to catch up!”
Furthermore, Timberlake is currently shooting a movie, “Runner, Runner,” in Puerto Rico.
