When it comes to her children, Tameka Raymond won’t go down without a fight. The ex-wife of Usher has plans to appeal the ruling that handed the R&B singer primary custody of their two young sons, reports TMZ.
Following the ruling, Tameka went on Twitter to post a few words on “loyalty” not “fearing the enemy,” and inferred that Usher paid to win the longstanding court battle.
The mother of five, has every intention of filing an appeal on grounds of bias. Rumor has it that in 2008, Usher’s lawyer’s law firm held a fundraiser for the judge that presided over the case. The firm brought in $1,278 for the judge.
Throughout their fight, both sides have attempted to show the other party as having bad intentions. Usher posted a photo of Tameka on Facebook, allegedly smiling while he was emotional over the thought of losing his children. Tameka denied that he was crying, and claimed she was smiling during a break, and that it had nothing to do with the case.
On the flip side, Tameka accused Usher of pretending to be sympathetic to the sudden death of her 11-year-old son, Kile Glover.
Usher and Tameka wed in 2007, despite opposition from his mother who did not attend the ceremony. They divorced after having two sons, Usher Raymond V, and Naviyd. Tameka claimed that she had no idea that the relationship was on the outs until she learned of her ex filing divorce papers.
