The general public may not be behind the notion of Rihanna and Chris Brown continuing their relationship but her father is all for the union. Ronald Fenty, whose relationship with his daughter hit a snag when he spoke to the press without her consent after she was attacked by Brown, has thrown his full support behind the couple.
“Whatever makes her happy,” he told Life & Style magazine. Despite the vicious attack, which the 23-year-old Virginia native has apologized for, Fenty doesn’t see Brown the way he has been painted in the public eye. “I always thought he was extremely talented. He always gave me great respect.”
As for potentially tying the knot, Rih Rih’s dad just wants whatever is best for his only daughter. “I hope one day she will get married. Everyone adores Chris; he’s a super guy.”
Brown and Rihanna have gone from teasing a potential rekindling of a romance to pretty much putting it out in the open. In the latest issue of Vogue magazine, the 24-year-old detailed how things between she and Brown have changed. “They can’t see what I see, unless they’re sitting in my point of view. I guess I’ll learn to accept that.”
Rihanna also sent a couple hopeful tweet to Brown during his court appearance in Los Angeles, last month.
