Now this is a welcome surprise. The L.E.P. Bogus Boys have been relatively quiet lately but today they drop a new cut called “X’s & O’s.”

The Chicago representing tandem of Noonie and Count are still adhering to their aesthetic of street rendered Hip-Hip. “Yeah, you know I gotta stay ahead of the curve/Payback a b-tch but I’m a man of my words,” spits Noonie over the tracks swelling synth and sharp drums courtesy of producer D. Rich.

Although the Low End Professionals have been on their grizzly independently for a long minute, they recently caught a record deal with Interscope/Geffen/A&M. Gee Roberson of Hip-Hop Since 1978 signed the duo to his Blueprint imprint, which is distributed by the house that Jimmy Iovine built, along with producer/rapper Hit-Boy.

“X’s & O’s” will land on L.E.P.’s forthcoming Don’t Feed Da Killaz Vol. 4 mixtape. But you can expect to hear plenty of more new music before it drops sometime later this year. Right now your plan should be to listen to and/or download “X’s & O’s” below.
