Kim Kardashian has officially hit the money pot. The reality star’s new app, Kim Kardashian: Hollywood, is expected to bring in around $200 million this year, netting her an $85 million windfall. The app, was created by San Francisco-based company Glu Mobile. They approached Kardashian with the app idea because she was “arguably the best brand fit in the world,” the company’s CEO said. Now, with such high projected sales, Kardashain’s cut is enough to officially get her off the reality TV — if she’s interested in retiring from that life. TMZ reports:

Sources familiar with the deal tell TMZ … Kim’s cut is 45% of net profits.  The game — “Kim Kardashian: Hollywood” — is set to gross a reported $200 million this year alone.

We’re told the actual expenses associated with the business are relatively low.  A straight 45% cut of $200 million totals a whopping $90 million.  Industry sources tell TMZ … expenses would not exceed $10 million.

So … we’re no mathematicians, but 45% of $190 million is $85.5 MILLION FREAKING DOLLARS. To put this in context … according to Forbes, Kim made $28 million last year.

As you know … the game is all about becoming a virtual celebrity, but it costs real money to buy your way to the top.

Now the bad news for Kim.  We’re told she has to pay her agent, Uncle Sam and, of course, Kris.

After less than a week Kardashian cracked the Top 5 in Apple’s  best-grossing apps, receiving 40,000 five-star reviews.

The 33-year-old mom was hands on in keeping the game as authentic to her look. She chose the majority of the clothing, hairstyles, among other things.

The goal of the game is for players to create their own “aspiring celebrity” and “rise to fame and fortune.”
