Wara From The NBHD celebrates a favorable feature on his Kidnapped album in the New York Times by blessing fans with a new record called “You Must Die.”
The Brooklyn born, Atlanta bred producer/rapper has a penchant for telling a story. And while this cut doesn’t fit into a narrative like the one told on his aforementioned LP, the concept is tight and his delivery is dexterous. Produced by Ron Shaw, with some assistance from Justin Padron on the guitar, the sonically menacing beat creates an eerie mood.
