If there’s one thing that you definitely DO NOT want to do when you’re on probation, it’s hitting up your probation officer for weed. Alvin Cross Jr. of Georgia is back in jail after he made a big mistake.
Cross pleaded guilty to drug possession Monday (Oct. 24). The exact message that he sent to the probation officer was, “You have some weed?”
Of course, the probation officer immediately contacted police and an arrest warrant was issued. Cross’s home was searched but it wasn’t weed that turned up in the stash. They found some cocaine though.
Cross was arrested for drug possession, and given an extra year for probation violation.
At least he’s not the only criminal with a text message mishap on record. In 2012 a teenager texted a cop to score 200 Percocet pills.
