Hip-Hop is global now. It is enjoyed throughout multiple countries and even taught at Ivy League institutions. But is it being slowly taken away from us?

While the actual business of the music continues to suffer, the culture is being monopolized to the tune of billions of dollars each year. However very few people of color are really in power to financially gain from the all registers ringing off.

Clearly our spending habits are more powerful than we realize and some conversation needs to be had on what we do and not support.
