The NBA Playoffs kick off on Saturday, April 18, and players no doubt have particular songs they play to get ready for game time. The overwhelming majority of players will be rocking to Drake and Kendrick Lamar

For example, Kosta Koufos of the Memphis Grizzlies had Drake’s “Headlines,” “No Tellin'” and “Energy” (as well as Mozart’s “String Quartet No. 14 in G”) on his playoff music list. His teammate Tony Allen chose all Drake everything with “10 Bands,” “No Tellin’,” and “Know Yourself.”

As for Kendrick, Golden State’s Harrison Barnes included “King Kunta” while Toronto’s DeMar DeRozan will be bumping K. Dot’s “Hood Politics.”

Strangely, the Washington Wizards had no Drake on their playlists with Bradley Beal going for the likes of “Here I Come,” from the Roots and Otto Porter including Kendrick Lamar’s “M.A.A.D City.”

Is that a good or bad sign? Check out the NBA’s full first round playoff schedule right here.
