Lil Wayne has another legal issue on the horizon, this after a model launched a lawsuit against his TRUKFIT clothing line. The model claims that TRUKFIT illegally used her image from a 2011 photo shoot and is suing for unspecified damages.

The model, Shanise Taylor, launched the suit after she was featured as an image on one of the fashion line’s t-shirts appearing not to be wearing underpants. While Taylor acknowledges she did agree to the shoot, she does not want to be associated with Lil Wayne’s clothing line or image.

More from TMZ:

Shanise Taylor is suing Weezy, and in the docs — obtained by TMZ — she admits posing for a 2011 photo session. She says she’s not a professional model, and when the photog sent her the shots she figured that was the end of that.

Then this year, she saw one of the pics pop up on a shirt made by Trukfit, a Weezy clothing line. In her suit, she even says Weezy’s team doctored the photo to make it look like she wasn’t wearing underwear.

Taylor says she never signed off on the shirts using her bod — and, furthermore, she never would want her image “on apparel associated with misogyny and violence.”

Taylor has retained the services of the Mase Lara law firm in Miami and wants all shirts with her photo on them to be eliminated from public view. TMZ reached out to Lil Wayne’s team to get a comment, but no response was given.
