Dr. Dre dropped his first new music of 2016, during the latest episode of The Pharmacy on Beats 1 radio over the weekend. Dre introduced us to “Back to Business” a previously unreleased track featuring T.I., Justus Victoria, Monet and Sly Paper.
It’s not clear if “Back to Business” was meant for the Compton album and didn’t make the cut, or if it’s a loose record. (We also don’t know exactly when it was recorded.)
Dre was working on T.I.’s upcoming album last year, perhaps “Back to Business” was the result of one of those studio sessions? The track is produced by Ontario, Calif.-born producer Swiff D, the name behind ScHoolboy Q’s “Studio.”
