Lupe Fiasco and Guy Sebastian joined The Roots last night on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon to perform their smash single, “Battle Scars.”

The song, which has gone seven-times platinum in Australia and two-times platinum in New Zealand, is one of the singles off of Fiasco’s Food And Liquor 2: The Great American Rap Album Part 1.

The duo joined the greatest band in late night to close out Fallon’s show, which also included a sit-down with fellow Chicagoan, Common. The two briefly embraced at the end of the show and after Lu’s performance of his song. Lupe recently released an untitled freestyle over Common’s classic record “Communism” from Resurrection before going on a social media hiatus.

Fallon also poked a little friendly rivalry between The Roots and Lupe Fiasco before the performance, as they are both up for the “Best Rap Album” Grammy this year for Undun and Food And Liquor 2: The Great American Rap Album Part 1 respectively. Also up for the award are Drake’s Take Care, Rick Ross’ God Forgives, I Don’t, 2 Chainz’s Based On A T.R.U. Story and Nas’ Life Is Good. Stiff competition.

Check out the full performance from the show after the jump.
