At long last, Bad Boy recording artist Cassie will finally release her oft-delayed mixtape, #Rockabyebaby.

The former model-turned-singer has not released a full project since 2006 when she released her self-titled debut album under Ryan Leslie’s NextSelection record label. Since then, she’s been seen on the arm of Sean “Diddy” Combs, but not much music has come from her outside of her single, “King Of Hearts” and the Young Jeezy-assisted “Balcony.”

She took to Twitter to make the announcement. “Thank you to my always patient and loving supporters. This is the official date of #RockaByeBaby’s release date. April 11th, 2013,” she tweeted.

According to the vivacious singer, the project will encompass a mix of genres. “It’s not pop, it’s not R&B, it’s Cassie,” she explained. Earlier this year, she released an all-girl remix to Trinidad James’ “All Gold Everything,” entitled “All Gold, All Girls,” featuring LoLa Monroe and Trina. She also released the popular single “Official Girl” with Lil Wayne back in 2008 as well as “Must Be Love” with her beau. Diddy.
