When Snoops’ not out promoting his latest release Malice In Wonderland, he’s known for his role as a coach for his Snoop Youth Football league.

Through the football league, Snoop is in charge of Los Angeles’  “Snoop Dogg Allstars” and this year he’s set to take his team on the road for his eighth annual “Snoop Bowl.”

The Allstars will travel to Miami for the playoff game and take on a local team backed by two celebrity coaches, Terrell Owens of the Buffalo Bills and Joey Porter of the Miami Dolphins.

The annual Snoop Bowl traditionally pens Snoop’s team against rival celebrity teams from across the country.

Last year, the virtually undefeated team took home a victory against Mike Alstott of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ Tampa All-Stars.

Snoop recently released a statement expressing his excitement over his eighth annual event with his talented team saying,

“I am happy that we’ve been doing this event for eight years – the kids love it and I do too. The future NFL stars play in this game annually and its fun to watch the kids imitate there favorite NFL stars.

The Snoop Bowl is as big as the Super Bowl to every kid playing organized football in the USA because they aspire to play against my team or to be coached by Coach Snoop “The Great.” I love being me wouldn’t you like to be an All Star too?!”

The “Snoop Dogg Allstars” will face the NFL players’ team when they square off in Miami’s Traz Powell Stadium February 6 at 1:30pm.
